Great Hard Drive Great Price

Pros: Sleek look, quiet operation, quick seek time, both firewire and usb.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I don't know how the other reviews complain about heat, this drive runs cooler than my other external which still has not failed. They must have smothered the drive with a pillow to make it hot. In which case someone should tell them that the vents are there for a reason. Other than that, this is a great drive, no errors, no weird noises, very cool running, very quiet and a great price. Not to mention the really nifty case that doesn't make your desk look like a modified server rack. This is my career so I actually have a level 5 understanding of this type of product, unlike the garage geeks with complaints.
Doesn't handle all hard drives

Pros: For the hard drives it does recognize, it does an excellent job of giving you an easy hot-swap option. I like the power switch on the cord for the power adapter so you don't have to plug and unplug things. Comes with everything needed for IDE and SATA drives.
Cons: This device doesn't seem to properly read all hard drives, or potentially file systems. It recognizes all of my drives, but many of my multi-partition and OEM formatted drives (with recovery partitions) would show up as uninitialized in both Windows Vista and 7. It also doesn't seem to load very well in Linux either. Even when reading drives formatted by Linux. It is very touchy in the order of connections too.
Overall Review: I dropped the same drives into my Vantec NexStar dock and they worked fine. Apparently this adapter doesn't have the same level of support or hardware that the NexStar does. I would recommend a NexStar and just deal with the slightly larger footprint. At least it gives you a physical area to work with and you don't have to worry about hanging wires everywhere or where to set the hard drive.
Definitely a good product.

Pros: Conversation volume can be cranked up loud enough to be heard in noisy vehicles. Battery lasts a long time. Pairing is easy and doesn't fade in and out like some headsets. Range is very good, I sometimes find my phone is still paired to it when I reach the door of a store with my car in the lot. Has auto standby feature if you leave it on in your car. If the battery gets low you can still talk with it plugged in. Very good noise cancellation compared to my headsets I have been using in the car. Has a nifty startup sound when you turn it on.
Cons: My biggest complaint is that the volume for the unit's sound effects and voice prompts does not follow the volume of the in-call speaker. When I try to use the voice dialing feature while driving, I can't hear what the unit is saying to me. Or if I get an incoming call while my phone is on vibrate, I can't hear the ringer through the speakerphone very well. In call volume is fine though. The flashing blue light while it is paired can get a little distracting at night, but it is not that bright so not a big deal.
Overall Review: I usually forget to turn it off, but that is my fault. It only comes with a cord to charge it with a cigarette jack, but it uses standard micro USB interface so you can charge it with a computer or wall charger from a cell phone with the same jack. It takes a long time to charge, 6-8 hours, but that means that you will get a longer talk time by avoiding the rapid charging. If it goes into standby mode, you have to flip the power switch off and on to bring it back. I have only used this device with my HTC EVO 4G. I have had problems with motorola bluetooth products in the past. This has renewed my faith in motorola.
Promising card seems abandoned

Pros: This is really a great card for the systems it is compatible with (32-bit). I like having the antenna attached to the card itself. It has a very small footprint in the case. The price is hard to beat for wireless G.
Cons: There does not seem to be any 64-bit drivers for this card. This card will NOT work with Windows 7 or Windows Vista 64-bit.
Overall Review: I see so many negative reviews on here about this card's performance that i can only assume is attributed to them using the included software. I have never had much luck with the 3rd party wireless connection management software. The sticker that says "install this first" on the cd is lying to you. I allow windows to control my wireless cards and they work fine. The few times in the past I let the 3rd party apps control them, performance was inconsistent and buggy. I own 3 of these cards and never had any problems until trying to install it on WIN 7 64-bit. C'mon Linksys, get on it.
Great Buy

Pros: High capacity, low price, slick look, metal case, fast transfer speeds
Cons: Gets hotter than other flash drives I have owned. I wish it came with a lanyard. Low Random Access Speeds. Lag time to start writing.
Overall Review: Overall this is a great product for the price. The sequential write and read speeds are top notch. It looks great and has a metal casing for heat dissipation. The downside is that it needs that heat dissipation as it gets hot when writing for extended periods of time. Though it out performed my previous flash drive by 300% on the sequential read and write speeds, the random read and write speeds were actually slower than my old flash drive. No worries though because it is so spacious that most everything should be sequential. Defrag it every now and then and it should work great. haven't had any problems. One thing to note is that the LED that shines out the back while being accessed is super bright so keep that in mind if you can't stand it. I suppose it is good to get your attention though so you know when it is being accessed if you are not doing it on purpose.
Lag time on my machine

Pros: Guitar Hero III itself is a great game. I have the wireless bundle for the Xbox 360 and play it on my Elite system all the time. But for when I am not always around my Xbox I got it for the PC.
Cons: On my computer there is very bad graphics lag. On the lowest settings possible (bad resolution, no crowd animation and low detail) it does alright but still lags when more than one character is visible. I gave it a 3 only because others seem to be doing fine so I can only assume that there are just some bad compatibility problems unresolved as opposed to an overall horrible port to PC.
Overall Review: My machine has an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz with 4 Gig of RAM (3 gig addressable right now), 32-bit Windows Vista Ultimate, 512MB ATI Radeon X1600 Pro PCI Express and a DVI connection to my 21" widescreen LCD panel. I use the Microsoft Wireless Game Controller Connector for Windows to use my wireless Xbox controller with it, which seems to work fine. I would be more than happy to blame Windows Vista and would not be surprised if that is causing the problems.
