Pros: Those new 8TB drives are nice if you want to squeeze a lot of TBs in a small server. The read / write speed is also quite amazing (tried on the LSI 9361-4i controller). With just 4 drives and you can have a 24TB RAID5 storage!

Cons: Out of 4 drives I got one bad. Could be a factory defect or maybe somebody just dropped it. The drive is working but make some weird noise, the controller predicts failure on it, so I've returned it. Thus minus one star.

Overall Review: NewEgg sсrewed up the name for the 8TB model, it should be HGST Ultrastar He8 HUH7280_8_0AL5200, not HUH7280_6_0AL5200 (8 is a number of TBs).

Overall Review: I wanted to buy this card along with the RTX4090 for my small video encoding project. I didn't want to buy the RTX from scalpers, and luckily the Intel popped up at MSRP. The encoding speed via av1_qsv (ffmpeg nightly build) is mind blowing. Nice bonus - CODMW2. I'm not a gamer but it's still fun to play, especially for free.

Pros: Tons of space for a good price, very reliable drive
