Most Favorable Review

My only choice...

SilverStone ST45SF 450 W SFX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
SilverStone ST45SF 450 W SFX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: • Definitely isn't broken. • Is pretty tiny, a necessary attribute for a mini-ITX build. • Delivers as much power as I need.

Cons: • FAN NOT SILENT, this is definitely the loudest fan in my build. My Intel stock heatsink is quieter, my EVGA 570 heatsink is quieter (but does emit a high pitched whine...), this PSU is definitely not silent.

Overall Review: This came with my Silverstone m-ITX case, which I bought for about $130 IIRC. Cables are far too long, but this can't really be a con.

Excellent QHD monitor for gaming + productivity

GIGABYTE 27 inch QHD 2K 1440P 300Hz/OC 320Hz IPS with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro & G-SYNC Compatible 1ms USB-C KVM Gaming Computer Monitor with Height Adjustable, Pivot, Swivel & Tilt Stand M27Q3

Pros: Great KVM function for users with both laptop (USB-C) and desktop (HDMI/DisplayPort + USB-A).

Overall Review: I had a previous model (M27QP) which had similar feature set. I enjoyed it a lot, sold it before cross-country and quickly regretted not keeping it! Bought this M27Q3 to fill the void and it seems like a nice upgrade over the old model. Higher refresh rate panel and nicer metal base. I do miss the cable pass-through of the old stand. I ended up returning this monitor to buy the 4K / UHD version instead: M27UP. The higher resolution panel is my preference, despite tradeoff of lower refresh rate at full resolution / lower resolution at full refresh rate. M27Q3 is the better gaming monitor (1440p at 300hz).
