CX280

Sennheiser CX280 Noise-Isolating Earbud Headphones
Sennheiser CX280 Noise-Isolating Earbud Headphones

Pros: *Solid sound. *Clear. *Volume control doesnt pop like I expected it to. *I was concerned about the added weight from a volume control but that is a complete non issue.

Cons: None really. Maybe you can make a case for not having amazing bass, but as is the bass can hit pretty good on some songs.

Overall Review: Using the medium size out of the box they fit well into my ear canal. The noise isolating feature works so well it does indeed cause noise when hitting/moving the cord. Much like when you press your fingers against your ear to seal out any noise, the same effect happens with these buds. You can hear yourself breathing when not playing music. I work at a desk so I'm stationary and this doesnt bother me. I'm not sure there is fix for this type of thing but then again I'm not a sound engineer.

Rebate ripoff program

XFX GeForce 8400 GS 256MB DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card PVT86SWHLG
XFX GeForce 8400 GS 256MB DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card PVT86SWHLG

Pros: It works.

Cons: Drivers on the CD are worthless. Driver download through XFX REQUIRES signing in and then a product activation on top of that. The rebate program is a complete ripoff. I've clearly purchased everything within the specified time frame and filled out all the paperwork properly and they gave me a worthless excuse that I purchased it outside of the rebate time frame. No way. I will never. Ever. Buy from XFX again. I will tell all my friends to never buy XFX. I'm disappointed in this company and it's shady business tactics.

Overall Review: Don't buy it. The rebate will not go through. Forget XFX. I hope they end up like BFG Tech.

Poor Quality

SAMSUNG ToC T240HD Rose-Black 24" 5ms HDMI Widescreen HDTV Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 10000:1 Built in DTV Tuner & Dolby Digital Surround Speakers
SAMSUNG ToC T240HD Rose-Black 24" 5ms HDMI Widescreen HDTV Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 10000:1 Built in DTV Tuner & Dolby Digital Surround Speakers

Pros: Cheap. Huge. Variety of connection options.

Cons: I gambled on Neweggs dead pixel return policy and I ended up getting one. The 1 dead pixel disappeared in a week. However, I do have a strange issue. The monitor suffers from slight horizontal lines that are caused by text and pictures. It is some sort of ultra thin multicolored flashing that can be recreated simply by taking a screen grab and re-displaying that picture/text in an image viewer. It ranges in length from a few icons wide to going halfway or more across the screen. It is a very strange issue and forums explain that it could be my hdmi cable or the monitor is defective. The problem seems to be getting worse and it sounds like a replacement is needed.

Overall Review: I have yet to contact tech support. I'm upset that I have to spend time figuring out/diagnosing issues on a brand new item. I don't have another cable I can use to swap out and see if the issue resolves. I don't like spending my time contacting, emailing, and explaining an issue. Why can't it just work right? What a waste of time and money. This is a quality control issue. Samsung cleared this model to go out the door even though it has severe horizontal artifacting. There is a chance that the hdmi cable is to blame, regardless they still sent something defective out the door. It could be possible that shipping jarred it into its current state. IMO, stay away.
