Elegant, high quality case

Pros: This is a high quality and very elegant case. External power adapter makes it almost totally quiet. I sat it on my shelf to display instead of hiding it inside the av cabinet.
Cons: Did not have two 80mm fans, instead only one and a cover for the other 80mm fan slot.
Inaccurate description

Pros: The construction is solid enough. The fan is quieter than anticipated which is a welcome thing. Trays slide smoothly. SAS connectivity is a must,
Cons: Contrary to description, this will not hold 12mm drives which makes the SAS connector pretty much useless. That bezel at the bottom which indicates the drive number ate the precious space and made the tray less deep, hence it will not hold velociraptors. Newegg should correct the description for this product.
Unattractive dock with wrong cable supplied.

Pros: Swivel connector.
Cons: This is an over-sized dock that comes with a micro USB 2.0 cable. The included cable totally defeats the purpose of buying a USB 3.0 dock! The design is quite ugly due to size and supplying a wrong cable makes this dock quite useless for its intended purpose.
Good build quality, questionable performance

Pros: I really want to keep this drive because the build feels solid: all metal, curve design which makes it so easy to handle. Speed is ok.
Cons: Copying over windows installation files using windows explorer causes copy errors. I almost returned it for this reason. I ended up using Filesync software to do my copies and they copied over without the errors. Beware if you plan on using this for a lot of write operations.
Overall Review: I'm keeping this because I will only use it mainly for installation files so once I get a good copy of my files to it, I expect it them to remain ok and will mainly use it for read operations. I would not use this for a lot of write operations or for storing important data.
Has serious flaw that might render your system unbootable

Pros: This card is identical to IOCrest, with the same model number. Installation is easy. Windows will recognize it out of the box and will install native Xeon PCI Express controller.
Cons: One it is installed, the moment you remove it and reboot Windows (I'm using Windows 7 64-bit), your system will crash on start up complaining about changes in hardware configuration. Putting the card back in will not resolve the boot-up failure. If you move the card to a different slot after it has been installed and recognized by Windows will also result in a boot-up failure. No amount of start-up repair will fix the issue. Not even going back to Last Known Good Configuration will fix the issue. I had to restore to a backup image created prior to installing the card before I was able to boot my machine back to Windows. Syba/IO Crest need to address this critical issue as anything that necessitates removal or moving of this card to another slot will render your system unbootable.
Has serious issue.

Pros: SATA controller recognized by Windows out of the box. Driver has to be installed for USB 3.0 though.
I had to restore to a backup image created prior to installing the card before I was able to boot my machine back to Windows. Installing the USB 3.0 driver from the driver CD is a guessing game since the CD has drivers for several model. You must run a setup file since the drivers are not supplied in uncompressed format so you cannot use the autodetect driver by just scanning the CD. The correct setup file is in the Etron folder..
