Great MoBo

Pros: This is a great motherboard. Easy to setup and run out of the box.
Cons: The onboard NIC has been a slight problem in Vista RC2. I'm sure that new drivers specific for to Vista will resolve the issues.
Overall Review: I highly recomment this board to folks.it's been kickin since I set it up.
75% failure rate? Come on!

Pros: Price, When they work, they are great. All 1 of 4!
Cons: 75% failure rate. Of the 4 I ordered, 1 caused beep codes & no post. 2 would freeze within 1 min of posting or getting to the desktop, & 1 worked fine.
Overall Review: I have RMA'd the 3 defective modules. I asked for replacements, but I am not sure the failure rate will be any better. 2 eggs ONLY becuase 1 of then worked. I only hope that the 4th lasts, as I see that some fail within a month. PQI has lost my faith.
Was easy to setup, but CrystalDiskMark gave slower speeds than expected.

Pros: Formated great and no problems with accessing or writing to the WD SSD. But, see cons below...
Cons: WD specs show 560MB/s reads and 530MB/s writes for this drive. I am getting 476MB/s Read and 504MB/s writes using CrystalDiskMark. That's correct! Writes are faster than reads! Very disappointed. This speed is close to 100MB slower than spec. The other SSD in the system is much faster.
Overall Review: I would not recommend nor purchase this drive again. I may have to return it.
Love this RAM so far!!

Pros: Plug n Play. Bought 2 of these and they Work great. Upped the Win7 memory performance rating to 7.3. Extremely low profile. Helps with space in a clutered case.
Cons: Small issue. I wanted to include a couple 1gb sticks of Corsair XMS2 RAM (PC2-6400). Unfortunately, when mixed in the system at the same time all system memory clocked down to PC2-5300. Not sure what caused that.
Overall Review: The mixing problem in not to bad for me as I plan on buying 2 more for a total of 8gb of RAM. Others may have a problem. Another thing. The Samsung timings are 6-6-6-18 and the Corsair timings were 5-5-5-12.
XBOX 360 upgrade

Pros: This is great for XBOX 360 drive hack upgrade. Is working great so far.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: The key to the 360 upgrade is that you actually need to upgrade the firmware to a Hitachi MS version. Funny thing is, that the firmware with the 360 certificate that is needed is actually a Hitachi firmware. Your PC will then identify you new WD as a Hitachi drive.
This model has issues

Comments: I had one of these in my work provided laptop. It performed well, until it started to make weird noises. One day windows started crashing left and right and then I received blue screens of death. Finally, SMART started thowing BIOS leave error warnings about impending failure. I barley got my data off it. I contacted our internal desktop support and the guys said that almost all of these hard drives end up crashing. To bad, they are fast drives, But just don't last.
