Working Perfectly After 17 Months

Pros: Still works beautifully after about a year and a half. Fast! Stable!
Cons: None...
Overall Review: I haven't overclocked this processor. Only running in Turbo mode...
Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't have bought it

Pros: Great features...
Cons: Have never gotten this to work. Too many cables...
Overall Review: Gave up after my initial install day! Mounted in the case, but not working.
First I was Glad, then SAD, then MAD, then Mixed Emotions, then Glad Again!

Pros: Got a (refurbished) replacement after the 1st one died (1 month). Very Fast! Windows loads in less than 30 seconds just like so many others have said before. RMA: no problem. Received replacement fast! Customer Service was Very Good!
Cons: Dead after 1 Month!
Overall Review: Installed in a new build with Windows 7 and the ASUS P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN3 LGA 1155 MOBO. Great Combination! Windows loaded VERY FAST. BUT, after 1 month or so, the drive began to fail until finally the computer wouldn't boot any longer. Crucial, told me that I needed to update to the latest firmware version and the problem would be solved. OK, no problem... At least until I get on the Crucial site and it says that there is no support if your MOBO has UEFI BIOS, which mine did. So, I called Crucial again and they said no problem, we'll send you out a replacement, here's your RMA. About 1 week later, I received my new (refurbished) Crucial SSD with the upgraded firmware. Re-installed Windows and all of my other software that died with the DOA drive. Since then, this drive has operated perfectly and effortlessly (and FAST) without any hint of a problem. If I could have only received a drive with the proper firmware in the beginning. Its kinda like I paid full price for a refurbished drive. But, it works perfectly so I won't complain (too much). Well, I did knock one egg off the rating - would have been a 5-egg.
Great Fan

Pros: I can say great fan because its the same fan that is stock in my NZXT case. Looks good...
Cons: None...
Overall Review: Could not install due to my installation of the Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler. The Noctua is HUGE and protrudes from the MOBO to almost touching the side panel. It leaves no room for me to install this fan. I kept it though and its sitting on the shelf.
Very Good So Far...

Pros: Looks Awesome! Love the lighted keys. I do most of my computer work at night and I like the lights out. Un-lighted keyboards can be hard to see in the dark if the screen is dark, but problem solved with the Black Widows lighted keys.
Cons: Once, my kids accidentally configured a few of the keys to type different letters (eg. the D key actually typed an F). This was very frustrating until I figured out what happened. This doesn't lower the NewEgg rating though as it was not a problem with the keyboard. But I did want to make note of this. To solve, I went into the software for the keyboard and set things back to normal... No Problems! The keys are a little noisier than I would have liked but not noisy enough for me to want to return it. Used to it now.
Overall Review: Love the BLUE glow of this 2012 model. (Just ordered the 2013 model for a new build - Emerald Green looks really good). I'm not a "real" gamer, so I cannot comment on it's gaming potential, sorry.
Still works Great...

Pros: Fast! It Works! Black! Looks Good! No Coasters! Very Quiet!
Cons: None for this model other than the price is high.
Overall Review: I had pretty much given up on Plextor burners due to my previous 2 builds having Plextor failures in less than a year. But I wanted a Blu-Ray burner and I liked this one best (although it was pricey). I decided reluctantly to try Plextor once more. I did install a Liteon as a 2nd burner just in case. But this Plextror has been great for me. Sorry, I haven't used the Lightscribe feature; cannot report on that.
