SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply
SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: -Absolutely quiet with high-quality fan. -Solid build, lots of spare modular cables (all sleeved) -Runs very cool, even under load this thing hardly even puts out warm air -Bronze rated efficiency, and it shows under use. -5 year warranty

Cons: None

Overall Review: I have this running the following hardware, and it hardly generates any warm air even: i5-2500K @ 4.6GHz EVGA GTX 570 Single HDD 4 x 120mm fans

Great chip

Intel Core i5-2500K - Core i5 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Intel HD Graphics 3000 Desktop Processor - BX80623I52500K
Intel Core i5-2500K - Core i5 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Intel HD Graphics 3000 Desktop Processor - BX80623I52500K

Pros: Coming from an AMD Athlon X2 6000+, this thing absolutely screams. Overclocked to 4.6GHz just by using the ASRock Pro3 Auto-Overclocker utility, so I am sure it can easily go higher with manual settings.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Cooler Maser Hyper 212+ keeps this thing around 38c idle and 63c under Prime95 full load @ 4.6GHz

Great performance/price

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes

Pros: This cooler performs very well without being overly huge and obnoxious. 2nd fan can be added for push/pull configuration. Have an i5-2500k overclocked to 4.6GHz with temps around 60c running Prime95.

Cons: Mounting was a little confusing since the screws have to go in a certain way to go through the bracket.

Great memory

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL

Pros: DDR3-1600 at a great price. The heatspreaders look MUCH better in person and I did not have a problem with my Cooler Maser Hyper 212+ clearing these. Bought two of these kits for 8GB total.

Cons: Not free???

Amazing monitor

SAMSUNG P2770FH ToC Rose Black 27" 1ms Full HD HDMI LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 70,000:1 (1,000:1)
SAMSUNG P2770FH ToC Rose Black 27" 1ms Full HD HDMI LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 70,000:1 (1,000:1)

Pros: -Very bright screen with excellent colors -Frame and base are very attractive -Touch panel options are sleek with a good menu layout. -Lightweight for 27" and thin. -AMAZING for gaming at 1080p resolutions

Cons: None

Overall Review: Upgraded from a 22" Acer and wow it totally changes your gaming experience. Even internet browsing provides clear readable text. All of my friends now want this 27" after seeing it and some will be making this purchase soon :)

Great Aluminum Hybrid

LIAN LI Lancool PC-K7B Black Aluminum/ SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
LIAN LI Lancool PC-K7B Black Aluminum/ SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: -Lightweight. Front bezel, top cover, and side panels are all brushed aluminum that looks great! -Front bezel design is great, very easily snaps off and has two 120mm fan filters that also easiliy snap out and back in, making fan filter cleaning extremely easy. -HDD cage can be completely removed, allowing for complete intake airflow with no obstructions. Top intake fan blows air into CPU cooler, and bottom intake fan supplies air directly to the video card. -Cable management clips behind mobo tray are a great feature -Vented PCI slots. -Quiet stock fans

Cons: -Aluminum is a little thin, but it is to keep the costs down. -Plastic case feet (again, to keep costs down)

Overall Review: This case is great and i LOVE how the HDD cage can be completely removed so that the intake fans can provide direct cool air to the CPU and GPU. Fits big heatsinks no problem.
