The challenge of buying online, is you don't see the product to realize the USB is the miniature one not on any device I actually own.

I was upgrading an old business machine in the midst of an IT upgrade fiasco. I tried to replace 2 two gig cards with one of these 8 gig cards, but it wouldn't start. I bought a second thinking both primary slots may be expecting a card. Still wouldn't start. Finally added both cards to the secondary slots, and put the two original cards in the primaries. Now I have gobs of functioning RAM, accommodating software bloat. Clock speed is of course slowed down by the original cards. IT professionals didn't have more stuff to screw up or bill us for. I got an obsolete machine to meet new minimal requirements while still running specialized hardware, so success of a sort.
