Very Satisfied w/ early use

Pros: Very well built, sturdy all aluminum black case. Quality looking, not cheap. I think they put together a good value. The control panel and manual is well written. It's got a lot of features but I just do the copy to drive and let it go. It burns 3gig dvd's I have in about 4-5 minutes all 5 pop out at once, pretty good productivity. The readout is easy to see, the status is very quick so you don't sit there wondering.
Cons: The tray covers I believe are for the case, I'd have preferred to leave the original drive bays on but it's fine. The box they recommend you keep for shipping back if a problem.... ITS HUGE! The case has a seal so u can't break it or lose your warranty... I'd like to see the internals on this thing but that's my own beef! :)
Overall Review: The printer I have not tried, I'm not sure if I will use it. It basically is a no brainer when it's free shipping and the std version of this w/o printer is about the same price. Right now I use labels so I'll probably hold off on the printer use. Overall I think you will be pleased with the unit. I've burned about 100 cd-r's and 20 DVD's and no coasters so I think it's pretty good value.
Tray interlock failed in 2 weeks

Pros: Came home today, tray will not close, seems some kind of interlock and tray timing is off, worked great for a few weeks but now is a lemon.
Cons: I'd look elsewhere, this is the 2nd NEC cd drive I have had failed. The 1st lasted 2 years than the laser I believe went out, this one I figured was a good value but now that in 30 or so burns it's got a track mechanism failure I'd say spend elsewhere
Overall Review: My last NEC drive. Tech support is poor, they only allow certain brands for support, they leave it up to the aftermarket parties to provide support. Why not just provide no support, it's all you get anyhow
company doesn't exist and these are junk

Pros: lots of usb 3.0 ports
Cons: cycles on and off about every 5 minutes all day long. Can't keep connected on the USB. Progressively has gotten worse over time. Maybe it's the power transformer but it's junk. The site is no longer available and despite it saying 2 year limited warranty, I feel like this is one of those purchases made in my last 20 years that I got taken for a ride
Overall Review: glad to see its not in stock but I wasted 80 bucks on a piece of junk. Next time I'll avoid the no name companies as this is a hassle with the drives cycling on and off this powered hub. If I could return it I would but the site they have is no longer working
Rick (Update from last post)

Pros: See review before about pump failing.
Cons: I first tried the online email help center. DO NOT USE THE ONLINE / EMAIL SUPPORT. When I called their help line the first time they were unable to help me but told me to do vinegar and water mixes to repair the pump. It's clear to me the pump is shot, there is a check valve in the line or the pump rather would pump out into the tank. The 2nd day I called, I explained everything and for 10 dollars they agreed to send me a new one and then I have to return this bad one. (not sure if a preprinted label will be provided or not)
Overall Review: Overall I like the unit but the 3 year warranty was a big draw for me when I got it. It appears talking to the support people are the only way to go. Knock on wood when I get the new unit (they said 7-10 days) we will hopefully be back up and running.
Wireless nightmare

Pros: I bought this from Newegg last August and it replaced an older WRT-400 router which was working fine, just thought i'd upgrade to improve the wireless speeds through the house.
Cons: The wireless portion of the router is brutally bad. I have updated firmware, gone back to older versions and back to the latest ver 4 with no success. I can reboot the router, go an hour and then the wireless devices get errors of limited connectivity. I change channels, I change password types (wpa vs mixed etc) and even the 20ghz/40ghz channels. It's so bad I can connect to my neighbors unsecured weak (1bar) quality router and get better internet quality. My wired pc is fast, >40mb on speedtest but the wireless when I do it same part are at .45mb speeds....
Overall Review: I would seriously consider a different brand. They are finally after a few hours and several calls to RMA it which I'm sure will cost me to ship it in and get a refurb that probably will do me the same way. I wonder if the router is overheating and the router just screws up. In 6 months I've had more trouble with this router than 10 years with older DLink's and even old school Linksys routers. The old WRT-400 is more reliable than this 4200. It's a shame, I'd rather get my money back and go with another brand but I'm stuck as I have some of their range extenders and entertainment bridges
Amazing soundcard, don't hesitate to buy

Pros: The sound quality. You think you hear the music, but if you have ever heard amazing home stereos or headphones where you get set back like wow.... this card is it. I had been using soundblaster for years. Then I got a new 2011 intel board with an asus p9x79 board where they claimed the sound onboard was great. I tried it, found that there was no power going to my 5.1 klipsch system. I longed for the old soundblaster but checked out reviews and never really cared for the software issues that plague the soundblaster line. I put this card in, at first had some issue on install, in 15 minutes I got a reply from someone who knew what to check. Amazing support. What I can say is that this makes my 5.1 system shake the room, and when I mean shake.... it shakes the house. The card is so amazing in range that I heard music like it's a new version, the quality of sound, the range and the power of the subs make listening to music fun. I wish I'd have bought years ago.
Cons: Cost, but you get what you pay for. No hype, just amazing quality, sound is amazing and it's so stable.... my wife hates when I jam out the house and shake the foundation
Overall Review: Seriously, I've bought alot of items, this is one that you will enjoy immensely. Ensure you have speakers that will make it perform, other than that I think you will be a fan as well.
