corsair ram is best
Pros: No problem installing these in a ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3.
Cons: none so far.
Overall Review: 7.3 Windows Experience on 64bit windows 7.
890fx chipset
Pros: Very easy to install. Nothing was crowded or hard to get to. Very well organized board. The RAID drivers needed to install Windows 7 x64 are included on the disc, so that was not a problem (like I had installing Vista on my old board).
Cons: Raid was slightly tricky to set up with the RAID manager, but not a big problem. No floppy disc drive interface!!! No respect for the old school.
Overall Review: This was the cheapest ASUS motherboard that had the 890fx AMD northbridge. I have had no issues with the board. I will have to wait until the SATA III SSD are cheaper before I get the real 6GB/s power. I'm looking forward to getting USB3 gadgets. This board seems ahead of it's time.
Amazing screen
Pros: LED is a much better light source than CCFL. I have this monitor right next to my old one, and you can truly see the difference. The light source is constant, and does not have the fluorescent flicker.
Cons: The ring stand. The monitor sits directly on the desk. I don't particularly care for the buttons. No wall mounts.
Overall Review: The screen of this monitor is amazing, especially for gaming. Even though the form should have been better arranged, I gave the monitor 5 stars on the quality of the screen, which is the only thing that matters for me. Would be uncomfortable on my work desk, but fine for home. Great price for 2ms response time and LED backlit. Do not get another CCFL monitor.
good drive at right price
Pros: 1 Terabyte for under a hundred dollars works for me. I needed the extra storage and jumped on the shell shocker. I have 2 7200.9's in a RAID 0, and the 7200.12 is much, much quieter. Hard to compare speeds, since the other 2 are in a RAID 0, but the SATA drives are very fast. Seagates have always been good to me, so I will continue with the brand.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Newegg could have used the air packs to ship it. Instead it was stuffed with paper. But UPS managed not to smash, so everything is well.
Not a DVD Burner
Pros: I have purchased Lite-On in the past, and they have always worked out just right. I gave it 5 stars since my other drives from them have never failed me.
Cons: I thought this was DVD Burner but it is ony a DVD-ROM. RMA and I'll get an IDE DVD-RW instead.
Overall Review: I wish LITE-ON had a SATA DVD-RW from Lite-On for around the same price as the IDE. The M2N32 SLI Deluxe carries only one IDE cable, and I had hoped to use it exclusively for an old hard drive. ASUS M2N32 SLI Deluxe Wifi 5000+ X2 Corsair DDR2-800 2GB EVGA 7900GT KO 512MB (before it was out of stock here, with the inferion RAM chips too) Artic Freezer 64 Pro 2 Seagate 7200.9 200GB RAID 0 (NCQ) Thermaltake Soprano with stock PSU 430 Watt (new PSU next on the list)
Nice DVD Burner
Pros: LITE-ON is the best brand for sure. Will fall in price after you buy it, naturally. Lightscribe is cool too. The disc are expensive, but you can imprint images!
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: This is an IDE, get a SATA 3.0Gb/s is got the board.
