EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G5, 80 Plus Gold 1000W, Fully Modular, ECO Mode with Fdb Fan, 100% Japanese Capacitors, 10 Year Warranty, Compact 150mm Size, Power Supply 220-G5-1000-X1
EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G5, 80 Plus Gold 1000W, Fully Modular, ECO Mode with Fdb Fan, 100% Japanese Capacitors, 10 Year Warranty, Compact 150mm Size, Power Supply 220-G5-1000-X1

Pros: I like that is smaller than my older Supernova 1000 and dead quiet no complaints at all about it. This is after a month of use though.

Cons: None as of yet.

Overall Review: I would recommend this power supply to anyone looking for something stable to push a beefy Video card in their system.Runs great with my 2080 card

Most Critical Review

Stable card so far.

EVGA 01G-P3-1556-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) FPB 1GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
EVGA 01G-P3-1556-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) FPB 1GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: Cheap and runs quiet. Id recommend it to anyone on a budget for gaming.

Cons: Didnt know when I ordered it that it dont support Boinc too well. It will process a workunit but no where near what a 570 or higher cause of the Fermi Technology put into those cards over this model.

Decent card

EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 XC2 ULTRA GAMING, 08G-P4-2187-KR, 8GB GDDR6, iCX2 & RGB LED
EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 XC2 ULTRA GAMING, 08G-P4-2187-KR, 8GB GDDR6, iCX2 & RGB LED

Pros: Nice quiet fans nice solid construction and runs cooler than my 1080 did on same mainboard. EVGA is my choice for a video card since 2011.

Cons: Rtx cards are just too pricey its like Nvidia thinks everybody is still cryptoming. LOL that's what I am using it for and with Boinc.

Overall Review: I see a very small amount of increased performance of over a 1080. Overall still a good card in the future RTX will become more mainstream in games and such.

its just ok

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, 4 CDC Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, Aluminum Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, 4 CDC Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, Aluminum Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151

Pros: Ran quiet and heatsink is huge.

Cons: Fan died after 8 months. Since day one it never cooled as good as my new Zalman heatsink and fan. It was a little bit of a challenge to get the brackets in place under that big heatsink.

Overall Review: I wouldn't buy this unless you want to just replace your stock cpu fan and not planning to do much overclocking or hardcore number crunching like on Boinc.

Im a fan of this fan.

ZALMAN CNPS9500 AT 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink
ZALMAN CNPS9500 AT 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink

Pros: Fairly easy to install. Runs quiet for the most part. I run a 4770K at 4.0Ghz and running Boinc projects fulltime it never gets over 70c.

Cons: I guess you could cut yourself if your not careful installing it or lose a part. The washers are very tiny but that's all I can complain about.

Overall Review: The Cooler Master heatsink and fan nowhere near as good as this fan.

Good Power Supply

EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2 120-G2-1000-XR 80+ GOLD 1000W Fully Modular Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply
EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2 120-G2-1000-XR 80+ GOLD 1000W Fully Modular Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply

Pros: Purchased over a month ago and its running quiet and smooth. I should bought a modular p/s years ago so nice to pick and choose cables that you need. Totally recommend to anyone on their next build.

Cons: None other than price. would have given five eggs otherwise.
