Gateway Laptop NV5462u Intel Pentium dual-core T4400 (2.20GHz) 4GB Memory 320GB HDD Intel GMA 4500MHD 15.6" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Pros: Wont stay operational long enough to really find any Pros.

Cons: comes with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Need at least Windows 7 Professional in order to be able to run "Windows XP Mode" through Virtual PC. Even if you upgrade the OS to Professional for an additional $90, still wont work, cause the T4400 processor doesn't support Virtual PC. Every single programs (ie: winamp, PCDJ, PlayCDG, MCGManager, Printer Drivers, etc) I installed was incompatible, and crashed the OS. I literally could not find one single program that I use that wouldn't crash this processor and operating system combination. Not one. Did a dozen system restores before finally giving up. Even changing the skin on Windows Media Player crashed it.

Overall Review: This may be a fine laptop if you plan on only playing solitare, and NEVER installing any of your own programs on it. Do not buy this product. Absolutely terrible Harware / Software combination in regards to program compatability. If you're going to buy a laptop with Windows 7, make sure the processor supports Virtual PC, or you're going to be in for a nightmare.
