Seagate still gets my vote!

Pros: No problems with this drive. Pretty quiet. 1TB!!!!
Cons: None so far. A bit pricey, but all the 1TB drives are.
Overall Review: Had serious problems with several WestDig drives losing sectors after a couple of weeks, then failing completely. Finally instead of RMA, I just started throwing them away! My first Seagate has been running for months with no problems. This is my second Seagate.
Craig-O buys another Seagate

Pros: Never had a failure.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I run the living CRzP out of these drives. The way I use my system, Western Digital drives last about 3 weeks. I finally gave up and threw away under-warranty WD drives because it's not worth the hassle if the replacement fails after 2-3 weeks. Seagate drives @ >1 year and still going strong! I am sold!
Asus is my 1st choice for Mobo.

Pros: This Mobo is VERY stable. If you have a bunch of drives to hook up read the book carefully before assembling. Pay attention to what you are doing and you will be rewarded with a system that works great!
Cons: I do not like the location of the SATA connectors. I have a Thermaltake Swing chassis and connecting the SATA cables is tricky, perhaps maddening is a better word. If I could go back in time I would remove the drive cage, connect all the SATA cables, then reinstall the cage.
Overall Review: Had an Asus mobo before. It also was very stable. Then I tried an Abit, but it would occasionally BSOD until I replaced the Linksys modem. Linksys driver not compatible, tech support no help at all. I have had the best luck with Asus!
No Problems! Read This...

Pros: I now have 2 of this model in my new system, and 1 EIDE model in my old system. I have never had a single problem with any of these drives!
Cons: None
Overall Review: Would buy another without hesitation, but with 3 dvd burners I am pretty well set LOL!
Good Product
Pros: Does the job.
Cons: Some play between pins and housing on molex side. Takes a bit of jiggling to mate connectors.
Overall Review: Have been using these for about a year with no problems. This is my second purchase.
Love my Thermaltake Stuff!

Pros: Everything needed to add an eSATA hard drive to your computer (except the drive itself). In this case I am running a Seagate 1TB!!!
Cons: I would have given this item a 5 except for one thing...the fan was noisy. I thought it might get better, but it got worse. I spent about 20 minutes removing material from the rear of 2 of the fan blades. Now it is quiet!
Overall Review: I am glad I bought an enclosure designed for eSata because, in Win XP, the drive is always detected when powered up. There also is a safe remove feature. The drive is always treated as a removable device, which is what I wanted. This, I feel, is due to additional circuitry inside the enclosure. This circuitry has little or no effect on drive speed.
