Love my Snipers
Pros: In Feb 2014 I bought 2x4gb of these exact ones. They still work like new, and have been very happy with them. I thought it's time to double up my RAM, so I bought another pack of the same exact ones, and they booted right up, and are running perfectly. I love my Snipers, and when I build a new rig in 2019 I will continue using G.Skill, but probably Ripjaws, as I haven't seen any DDR4 Snipers. I think they quit making them. So sad.
Cons: I had them on my wish list for a long time, and no one bought them for me. Also they weren't on Black Friday list so I had to pay full price. Honestly I can't think of any Cons
Overall Review: I've tried different brands, and they either didn't boot, or died after a year. Someone said to go with Snipers, and I did. As mentioned it's been almost 4 yrs, and they are still working beautifully. I'm gonna stick with G.Skill for good.
Never again
Pros: Works once
Cons: Dies after first use or so
Overall Review: New computer build so I needed to install windows. I installed it with this flashdrive. Worked great. Then I had to install a driver. It kept making my new comp crash. So I thought maybe it was the driver. Took the Flashdrive to my other gaming rig, and it took 10 mins for it to uninstall 3gb file off this flashdrive, and then it took almost another 10 mins to transfer a 128meg World of Warcraft Addon folder. Took it to the new rig, and it's been transfering the files for a several minutes now. Will never buy from this branf again. I thought I would try something new. I should have stayed with my Sandisk ones. They have never failed me, I only bought this because I lost mine and I wanted something different, something new ya know
WoW disconnects? Not any more. Cable Modem Fees? Umm No!
Pros: Easy to install, black like my shirt, and my hair. So that's nice. Gets me all of my 120meg downstream interweb. No more paying Comcast modem rental fee.
Cons: Was more than I wanted to pay.
Overall Review: Was sick of paying for modem rental fee. Started at 7 a month, then 8, then 10, and now almost 4 yrs later that charge $11 monthly. Aside from that I came back to World of Warcraft after almost 9 yrs break. Paid good month for Legion and the New one coming up BFA. Well Would you have it that it was the only game I was having disconnects on. No other MMO had this problem, so I felt robbed for making that purchase. I used to be a tech so I know my end was good as far as my computer went. Blizzard (Warcraft) starts giving me the run around. Searching on line I found out there was huge I mean huge laundry list of modem that their servers have issues with. So it was perfect timing. I was already sick of my modem fees. I knew what I wanted but had trouble finding the modem that matches my needs. Then I found this one. It was perfect. Modem router combo, 16x4, and AC1600 wifi. The wifi reaches the other end of my 3 bedroom home, the modem looks great, and it's been 5 nights of gaming without a single disconnect. Before this modem I was getting 4-8 disconnects per gaming session. I highly recommend this modem.
Eh, too many flaws for the price.
Pros: They feel sturdy, and the interface is easy to use. Sound ok. I was afraid that I would not have an option to turn off the lame RGB, but yep you just have to select the top option that should say OFF or something like that, but instead it says Select Effect.
Cons: The bass is really weak. I have a cheap pair that has a much better sound than these, but I bought these because the cheaper ones had pleather on the ear part which has completely flaked / tore off, and the cushioning has become weak there for making them uncomfortable. Going back to these well they fit well around the ear, and they are pretty comfy. The bass though, it's really lacking. I may return them unless I can find a way to give it a deep feeling. That being said, I do not listen to rap so if you so then you really won't like how weak the bass is. Also there is no noise suppresion at all. I can hear the tiniest needle drop while these are on be gulliver. I haven't tried the mic, but I already know that it's pretty weak from good reviews on Youtube. What I am upset about is that the mic doesn't hold a height position. Once you pull them down to activate them they slide down by it's own weight to the lowest it can go, so basically it's at the bottom of my chin. I'll update this later if the mic suffers from it's position.
Never sent it
Pros: The pic on the site looks nice.
Cons: I can't gift the pic on the site.
Overall Review: Finally got my package, and they only sent 1 of 2 items. They didn't bother sending this one. UPDATE: I finally got the perfume in the mail, and it's not the same box as advertised. In fact the box it came in has a plastic window, and has two CVS Pharmacy stickers on it. Looks like I am stuck with it because I am in no way going to give this along with the other perfume that arrive without issue, and was nicely cellophaned as a wedding present for my brother's old lady. "Oh here you go hun I stopped at CVS on the way to the reception, and got you a gift." RAGE! Avoid these people.
Sweet screen
Pros: Not a single dead pixel, easy to use control menu "just use the buttons directly under what the menu display shows." Screen is a really nice size. Thought it would be smaller since I was using a 34in TV before getting this beauty. I've read people say the speakers are bunk, but I have no input on that since I use a sound system. Price was really nice. I don't play FPS games so 60hz monitor is perfect. Playing GW2 and similar games so a steady 60hz with no tearing or stuttering makes games look so fluid and beautiful. The IPS panel is also amazing, I can't see my lamp reflecting from behind me either. I couldn't be happier with this product. Hope it lasts me a while.
Cons: The stand can not be adjusted in height, but it happens to be the exact height that I needed it to be so no biggie eh? Monitor comes with screen brightness at 100%, not good, but the colors are perfect. I just set it to 72% and am no longer screaming BRIGHT LIGHT!
Overall Review: I would without doubt recommend this monitor to anyone who isn't FPS competition gamer who swears that they need to have 144hz and over.
