Huge!

Pixxo ML-G135 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 1600 dpi Mouse
Pixxo ML-G135 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 1600 dpi Mouse

Pros: It's shiny and pretty. The buttons are very quiet. It's very sensitive until adjusted in Windows Setup. Light on the heel of palm position is pretty. The mouse seems to be precise. The rodent feels pretty substantial ... no squeaks, cracks or pops. The coating on the sides is a soft mat finish. The wheel is wide and slightly concave. I get a little roller noise from that.

Cons: The wire is earbud thin. It may last forever but at first sight it's scary. I can't say anything about comfort because as you know we get used to a mouse and something different takes a few days to feel normal. The forward and back buttons appear to be reversed to what I'm used to. I expect "Back" to be closest to me.

Overall Review: I got this as a spare. At the price it's always nice to have. The laser is invisible with a laser warning sticker on the bottom. I have doubts about having a small child around this. The thumb buttons are above a pronounced ridge rather than on it. At the moment it feels like a wall I have to jump with my thumb. The whole thing is about 3 1/8" wide and almost 5" long!

Got some problems

Polaroid i1035 Titanium 10.0 MP 3X Optical Zoom Digital Camera
Polaroid i1035 Titanium 10.0 MP 3X Optical Zoom Digital Camera

Pros: Takes great photos. Lots of settings. Battery usage is fine with E2 Lithium batteries. They're the only batteries to use in a camera. I'm using a 4 Gb SDHC card with it. Good, simple camera with a short learning curve. This is my 4th or 5th digital camera.

Cons: Static pops in audio when doing a movie. Maybe it was EMF from being close to the pc at the time. No way mentioned in the book to take a voice note with a photo. Waiting for a reply from Polaroid. The weirdest thing: Each time you open the battery door to take out the SD card the time and date resets!!! It's not hard to reset it (but you start at 1970!) but I'll be using the cable from now on.

Overall Review: Pretty ok for the price depending on what you want a camera for. The photos look good. Don't expect to see the LCD in bright sun. Just point the camera. It will do ok.

Great brakes!

2002 Ford Ranger 4WD Approved Performance F14232 - [Front Kit] Performance Drilled/Slotted Brake Rotors and Carbon Fiber Pads
2002 Ford Ranger 4WD Approved Performance F14232 - [Front Kit] Performance Drilled/Slotted Brake Rotors and Carbon Fiber Pads

Pros: I replaced an almost new set of stock pads and rotors with these. I wanted that extra stopping power and I got it. Sometimes expectations are met. Who woulda figured? They're gorgeous and they really work!

Cons: None at this price!

Overall Review: Stopping better is the difference between a crash and a near miss. My wife drives this truck. When I saw what they are for this price I had no problem jumping at this and hoped I'd get better than the almost new brakes that kept dusting up my wheels. They stop with authority and don't squeal, squeak or dust. Much better than stock brakes. Win Win!

Just works

Kensington K33978WW UH4000 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub
Kensington K33978WW UH4000 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub

Pros: Small size, instantly recognized and just works as advertised. I expected something bigger and was pleasantly surprised how compact this thing was. Couldn't be simpler. No disc, no driver install. Just plug it in and you have 4 USB 3 ports (really 3 because you plugged it into a port ... duh!). Bet your laptop has one USB 3 same as mine. Problem solved!

Cons: Can't find a con at this price.

Overall Review: No change to normal operation with thumb drives. Still need to "stop" them before removal at the taskbar. I doubted because let's face it ... there's some useless junk out there. This is a no brainer and glad I got it.

More than I expected

ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Everything. It's beautiful. The "lava lines" around the audio section are shockingly gorgeous. Included software took it to 4.6 Ghz on air and it's stable. No clue what this thing could do if I started doing a bit of research and tweaking.

Cons: Honestly can't think of one. I thought I was getting a boring, less than leading edge board. I got a lot more. Can't call that a con.

Overall Review: Idiot me was plugging in an old USB header with all the extra connectors (except one) held in my hand. Of course it connected itself to an adjacent pin. I saw SMOKE!!! and the machine shut down. Always got away with it before (building since the mid-80s). The board came back up and reported it had shut down after detecting a surge. No damage! Obviously, this board is smarter than me.

Works but a pain

iClever Portable Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Transmitter for TV, Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, Mp3 Player, CD and DVD Players and All Other Audio Devices with 3.5mm Audio-Qut Jack
iClever Portable Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Transmitter for TV, Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, Mp3 Player, CD and DVD Players and All Other Audio Devices with 3.5mm Audio-Qut Jack

Pros: Small, does the job after you figure out how to get it to pair and connect. One button turns it on and when held about 6 sec the LED starts blinking red/blue. THEN turn on and get the receiving device into pairing mode. If it doesn't connect immediately (beep from the receiving device), turn OFF the earbuds and get them back on and into receiving mode quickly. It will connect.

Cons: Can NOT charge while in use. Period. Tried both the tv's USB and a wall wart USB charger. PITA to figure out how to connect. Chinglish answer to all questions on other sites is to ask if the receiving device has bluetooth. Other than that hold button for 6 seconds and turn on receiving device. Wish it were that simple. Can NOT connect while plugged into the device you want to transmit from. Got to connect and then plug it in to be sure it's working.

Overall Review: My Sony bluetooth stereo earbuds work great with everything else with bluetooth ... phones, pc, laptops, etc. This thing is a pain to get them to connect to. No clue about battery life but good for hours from the tv to my Sony. Maybe a little lag ... but not much. Sound is ok for tv. Got it in desperation to drown out noisy neighbors and not bother anyone to enjoy tv in a motel.
