great card

Pros: huge improvement over the 7900gt it replaced. the always mentioned crysis runs more than twice as well at medium settings, and runs very well at high settings. so well that i feel the need to play through again just to look at all of the pretties i didn't get to see the first time through. evga's step up program.
Cons: runs a little on the warm side, but that might be my messy cabling getting in the way of my dusty and undersized fans. the card is a bit long, a little over an inch longer than the card it replaced. had to move second hd up one slot to make room for the power. not really the cards fault tho, more like the lazy owner.
Overall Review: it's a no brainer if you're upgrading from any single 6, 7 or lesser 8 series card. fair upgrade to anything ati, except the 38xx cards. the few frames you may gain there aren't worth the $$. no idea how it handles dx10 as i still use xp. not sure how much overclock it'll take. haven't felt the need for anymore speed....yet. prolly the best bang for the buck card since the 6600gt. if a man makes a suggestion in the forest, and his wife isn't there to hear it, is he still wrong?
