Good Inexpensive ram that mildly overclocks

CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-6400C5
CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-6400C5

Pros: Inexpensive, works great out of the box, low voltage.

Cons: Limitied overclock

Overall Review: I was able to get this ram stable 920 Mhz at 5-5-5-15 on stock voltage (1.8). Higher Mhz required 2.3 to 2.36 V, which is in the danger zone IMHO. The highest i got this ram stable at 2.36 v was 1025 Mhz. I was also able to get this ram stable at 4-4-4-12 at 2.3v at 850 Mhz. Currently I am running this ram at 920 5-5-5-15 1.8v to match my E8400 at 460 FSB with 0 issues. I found this to be the fastest overall configuration for my system on this ram.

Hard to beat for it's price

DIYPC DIY-S07 Black Steel ATX USB3.0 Mid Tower Computer Case
DIYPC DIY-S07 Black Steel ATX USB3.0 Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Let's just be honest, it's cheap but extremely functional for the price you pay-Lots of room for air intake-lots of drive mounting functionality-Believe or not I have been able to fit (just barely, would not recommend) a EVGA FTW3 Ultra 3090 in this case

Cons: Given how inexpensive the case is I'm not going to knock it for things like fit, finish and materials. That should be expected at this price. There are however a few things that could easily be done to improve this case and most likely not introduce a large amount of costs-Top mount PSU leads to this case being top heavy and not as stable as it could be-Extremely limited AIO support, like all you get is a 120MM at the top, consider re-designing the front of the case to allow for 240MM AIO. -Top mount 120MM works, but it's not pre-drilled you're essentially mounting a fan through the punched air drill holes-Redesign the PCI-E card rear screw down, the included bracket / method is extremely hokey

Overall Review: If you want a small inexpensive case that supports a full ATX board this is a great option!

Bit perfect, if you know what you are doing

CHAINTECH AV-710 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Sound Card
CHAINTECH AV-710 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Sound Card

Pros: SPDIF pass through, good chipset and the ability to do bit perfect with latest drivers.

Cons: Quite a bit of work to get auto switching handoff between 48 and 44.1 Khz. Not for someone who wants "plug and go" pass through sound.

Overall Review: DO YOUR RESEARCH. Bit perfect possiable w/ latest VIA drivers but does not support auto switching If you want auto switching, you will need to do quite a bit of work and re-flash the rom on this card.
