Awesome
Pros: This RAM runs smooth. From the moment it was installed in my MoBo it has run like a champ. I never had to configure it. Automatically at 9-9-9-24@1600@1.50v. I bought and installed 4 sticks. I love having 16GB of RAM
Cons: None
Overall Review: Some people are complaining about this RAM. Please make sure you configure your MoBo to use the correct timing and latency before giving it a bad review. Also make sure your MoBo supports DDR3 1600.
Non Active Cable
Pros: The cable works great for high quality video.
Cons: The cable is not active so there is no chance of using it in an Eyefinity setup. You need an active cable to use three displays at one time. This is not advertised anywhere.
Amazing with only a few complaints
Pros: -Fast -Powerful -Attractive -I'm a world traveler (military) and this laptop is a straight up beast. It can handle any game I throw at it (BF4,BF Hardline, Witcher) with no lag or stutter. I average 60FPS on each of these games with high settings and 45 FPS on ultimate settings. The build quality is amazing and stands up well to serious travels and harsh environments. -The display is nice, not amazing
Cons: -The UEFI bootloader does not like to dual boot with Linux, it took some work but was figured out. -The blue ray drive tends to pop out when in my backpack unless I put that side up. Not a big deal, minor issue. -Sound quality out of the built in speakers is a little weak and flat sounding, not an issue since I usually use headphones.
Overall Review: As I would always expect from Asus, this laptop is truly among the best. I bought this for gaming and Android development for while I'm deployed and I couldn't have asked for a better product. I got it on sale earlier this year and for $2K I'm extremely happy. If you are hesitant to purchase, don't be. I haven't had a single *REAL* issue with this laptop and I don't expect I will.
WOW!
Pros: This thing is amazing. It's fast, it's smooth, and it's powerful. The power to cost ratio is far better than any Intel Core i7. I have used both the i7 and this beast side by side for compiling Linux distros and Android ROMs. I will take the AMD any day of the week.
Cons: It runs really HOT! I had to get a good aftermarket cooler to be able to use the CPU, but now it sits at about 15 degrees Celsius.
Awesome
Pros: FAST, smooth, great rendering, beautiful
Cons: None... Are you crazy?!?!?!?!
Overall Review: You will need an active display cable/display converter if you want to use this card with 3+ monitors. This is not widely advertised.
Great Tablet - Love IT!!!!!
Pros: With the Nvidia Tegra 2 processor the tab is snappy. It opens apps quickly and can multi-task well. The 1 GB of RAM is great. I don't always have to run Advanced Task Killer to keep some free RAM. The display is nice, but not quite as vibrant as other tablets. I love the USB and HDMI ports. Being able to throw in a USB thumb drive and play movies/music from it is amazing. The ports are full size meaning no special cables. The screen is responsive and clean. I have had no issues with lag or anything else showing that it might be over loaded.
Cons: As I said the screen is nice, but is not quite as vibrant/bright as other tablets I have looked at. Others have also mentioned the issue with bloatware. I personally don't have too much of a problem with the extra few apps, but I wish Toshiba would let me remove them.
Overall Review: I have been a Toshiba customer for many years. They make great quality products that last a long time. I have a laptop that was purchased in January of 2008. The laptop is now running Windows 7 and still going strong. You will not regret your purchase should you decide to go with this model over various other brands. If connectivity ports is more important than bright screens, you have found your tablet.
