Wow! What a great board

ASUS P5E LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P5E LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Not a single problem with this board so far, I'm very impressed with it, stability, looks, great sound too, Asus and Newegg really delivered on this one, just through initial testing I got my Q6700 to 3.6ghz, scored close to 19000 3dmarks in '06

Cons: I'll write another review when i find one

Overall Review: going from an MSI board to an Asus M2R32-MVP to this P5E I really can't say enough good about Asus, IMHO the best Mobo's on the market

Great PSU

PC Power and Cooling S75CF 750 W EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Plenty of power from this psu, runs my 2 2900xt's, q6700, plus the drives with no issues whatsoever, everything is overclocked as far as it can go also, probably the best value in a psu i've ever seen, this PSU is certified for crossfire w/2900xt's that should tell you how much juice it pushes, lol

Cons: none really, maybe too many cables

Overall Review: went from an FSP Group 760w w/4 12v rails to this because the FSP Group couldn't handle having one of the PCI-e connections on the same rail as the processor with the power hungry cards i have, i paid a lot more for the FSP Group also :(

Buckle Up cuz speed kills

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 - Core 2 Quad Kentsfield Quad-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 775 95W Processor - HH80562PH0678MK
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 - Core 2 Quad Kentsfield Quad-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 775 95W Processor - HH80562PH0678MK

Pros: This thing is fast, totally blows the 6000+ I had before away, I was able to get it to 3.6ghz but it got a little warm with the stock HSF, I'm running 3.33ghz 24/7 right now, until i get some liquid or high end air on it, then it'll probably make it to 3.5 or 3.6 24/7

Cons: none so far

Overall Review: went from 13000 3dmarks in '06 with my M2R32-MVP, 6000+, 4gb of G.Skill DDR2 800, and Crossfired 2900xt's to pretty close to 19000 3dmarks with this chip, P5E, 4gb Mushkin DDR2 1066, and the same 2900xt's, very impressive imho

Good Ram, Runs as advertised

Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model 996599

Pros: Runs as advertised 1066 @ 5-5-5-15, not a single issue so far, haven't memtested it yet though

Cons: None, even the price was great

Overall Review: Switching from G.Skill to this took some pondering, but i'm pleased with this, both are great companies with great products

great card

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 2900XT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100201SR

Pros: fast, dx10

Cons: loud fan (very loud on 100%)

Overall Review: i dunno what all the other people who say it runs hot or the drivers suck are talking about, just set your fan control to actually spin more than 10% under load, i've never gone over 60c with a slight overclock on it

nice processor

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM2 125W Processor - ADX6000CZBOX

Pros: good fast stable

Cons: a little warm

Overall Review: not the fastest out there but still a good processor, have it running at 3.3ghz right now, perfect for all my gaming needs
