E7300 Power

Pros: Overclocked to 3.33ghz with stock cooler @1.3v. Make sure you have the bios updated on your motherboard before switching to these newer 45nm chips. And, doublecheck your mobo's combatibility.
Cons: NONE
Overall Review: Now if I can only get it to 4ghz....... time for real cpu cooler/fan combo.
crash and burn

Pros: Quiet and fast for a 5400 hard drive.
Cons: Completely crashed in 3 months. Not Newegg's fault but maybe WD needs better quality control. Glad that I back up regularly and save/copy my needed data to USB too.
Overall Review: Replaced it with the even faster/better WD3200BEKT
Super Ram

Pros: Super fast and reliable without needing voltage like other brands.
Cons: NONE
Great Board

Pros: Great price and features. Overclocks my e7300 to 3.33ghz with stock cooler. The gskill 4gb dualchannel ram runs super reliable at 1066mhz with this board.
Cons: Does not have RAID. Will have to throw in an adaptec RAID card. And, those annoying stickers especially on the memory slots take forever to remove and leave glue. Understanding the bios feature will take forever.
Overall Review: With RAID and no stickers, it would be perfect. Updated bios to F9 even though I didn't need to. Vista runs really fast.
Cheap and good

Pros: Excellent drive for the money. Reasonably fast and quiet. Supposedly these Excelstor drives are IBM clones.
Cons: OEM only and would like a boxed version with real warranty. Could be hit or miss since we now know how some IBM drives had some issues.
Overall Review: Will post back after a few months. I tend to workout and crash drives on a yearly basis. Will see if this lasts longer then my WD's/IBM's.......
Basic No Frills

Pros: Here is a great little all-integrated motherboard for simple home/office computers. You can put together a great really cheap computer and upgrade in the future. Toss in a single stick/1GB of ram, a Conroe Celeron, Linux,... and you'll have a great performing PC cheaper then my monthly coffee expense. Windows XP pro installed, on single serial drive, easy and flawlessly.
Cons: Board only supports 2gb of DDR400. If you buy memory, make sure you get at least a 1gb stick so that you have room to upgrade. Memory also only operates in single channel so you power users will complain. Onboard NIC, sound, graphics are just adequate. Via, please give us more power. Kill the serial/parallel ports and give us more USB, better sound, and better monitor/LCD connectivity. SATA only 1.5! BIOS is lame, but foolproof and needs tweaking for better performance. Someone please explain the HDMR slot, what do I use it for?
Overall Review: The potential is there for a great, low power, upgradeable, simple working computer system. Will post back in a month after more software/hardware testing. Might even give it a real graphics card and the 2nd gig of ram. And, when quadcore becomes affordable in a few years, will replace the Conroe-L!
