Excellent!

Pros: Exactly what I needed. Serves as a docking station for my laptop -- USB 3.0 for two external hard drives and dvd drive, slide scanner, keyboard, mouse, iPhone, printer, SD card reader, and still room for an Arduino when I get hackish.
Cons: I wish the power brick didn't block adjacent outlets on the power strip. I could use help with cable management...
Overall Review: If you need lots of USB slots, this is the right unit to get. No more juggling USB cables and inadvertently unplugging a mounted disk.
Broken design

Pros: small, inexpensive, easy setup
Cons: Can't really use 1200 Mbps when the WAN link is only 100 Mbps. Stupid!
Overall Review: A nice idea, crippled by a stupid choice in the fine print.
Works perfectly until it doesn't

Pros: supports external HDMI monitor, gigabit ethernet, and USB ports on a Macbook with only one USB-C, no other ports. No muss, no fuss!
Cons: Runs very warm. Ethernet port died in less than 3 weeks.
Overall Review: I thought this was wonderful, until the ethernet port died.
Inadequately tested

Pros: a nice-looking aluminum package with the ports that should have been included on a laptop but weren't....
Cons: The first one had a faulty HDMI connector. Seller nicely offered to replace it. After being reminded, seller sent a replacement, but the Ethernet didn't work (not recognized by the host). I'm done...
Overall Review: Frustrating.
Failed in 2 months

Pros: Great while it lasted
Cons: Sudden failure after two months, probably in one of the connectors.
Overall Review: Would not recommend, obviously.
works fine

Pros: Does what it should, doesn't block the other outlet
Cons: what's not to like?
