Best Case On In The Game

SilverStone Temjin Series TJ07-BW Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case
SilverStone Temjin Series TJ07-BW Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: futuristic design, great airflow, and plenty of space to put extras in. reading the dimensions means nothing until the ups man is standing outside your door and the package is up to his waist and he has to help u cuz u can't get ur hands around it. bottom line is it just looks pretty freakin' good with other high priced components u wanna get. it'll make other ppl think ur computer is amazing even if u got junk in it. used this for my first system build and can't be happier that I spent so much money on a case. fits my toughpower 1200w cleanly, and under my desk (my desk is pretty tall tho). mobo tray is extremely convenient and with thumbscrews u can get in and out really quickly.

Cons: kinda heavy so it's no fun to move it from where i build and test to where i use it. i also open it up a lot so maybe it's my own fault. striker extreme i/o panel and case don't match up exactly by millimeters, but i'm trying to be really picky tho.

Overall Review: striker extreme/qx6850 @ 3.8Ghz 1333/dominator 8888 @ 1333/toughpower 1200w/asetek waterchill triple/8800ultra Black Pearls in SLI. u can stop reading about other cases now. just click on the add to cart and look at other stuff...

Archos 7

Archos 7 501160 320GB 7" WiFi Internet Media Tablet with 7" TFT Touch Screen, Gray
Archos 7 501160 320GB 7" WiFi Internet Media Tablet with 7" TFT Touch Screen, Gray

Pros: - MASSIVE HDD - Nice, Bright TFT screen for movie watching - Windows Media Player compatibility (not a fan of apple) - Ability to add media from several different sources instead of pairing with 1 library like the iPod

Cons: - Software is TERRIBLE. very slow and totally unintuitive - No "Album Artist" categorization - when a song is playing and you try to play another song, it doesn't play it immediately but adds it as next in the queue which is fine but then when you press the back button it goes back to the artist that's playing not the artist you queued which can get annoying when the song playing is by Aerosmith and you had scrolled all the way down to Zapp to queue it up and have to scroll all the way back down if you were browsing the library. - it takes a lifetime for the battery to charge (8 hrs.) - you can improve this to 3 hrs but have to buy a dock! - Nonstandard proprietary Archos connector for sync/charging i'm sure there are tons more as i seem to figure out something new everyday!!

Overall Review: The primary reason i went for this instead of the more popular portable media players is the size. I have well over 200GB of just music and I really, really enjoy not having to burn CDs and always have the song I want to hear with me. That property makes up for a lot of the shortcomings of this device for me. That being said, if you don't care too much for HDD space then DO NOT get this device. The software is slow as molasses and the organization of media is horrendous. On my WMP library, I organize by album artist because it is the fastest and you CANNOT do this on the 7. it's just by "artist" and this includes contributing artists separated by "/" which is ridiculous because you will have songs from the same album under 10 different artists. Also, I noticed when syncing via WMP, a lot of the music doesn't appear under the "Artist" heading. You have to go into "hard drive" mode and they are there but then they are file names instead of song names. Step it up Archos!

I can't stand whiners

CORSAIR Dominator 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 1111 (PC2 8888) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-8888C4DF
CORSAIR Dominator 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 1111 (PC2 8888) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-8888C4DF

Pros: Fast. just blazing fast... vista x64 is solid with 2gb of these and i'm definitely gettin two more!

Cons: umm.... can't think of any. they run stable at 1066 mhz but i'm havin a hard time gettin them up to 1111. i've increased voltages and everything in my striker extreme. oh well i'll figure it out...

Overall Review: u know what's interesting about this whole posting reviews thing is that the unsatisfied people are the ones who are upset enough to get online and write bad reviews about things. if it delivers as promised nobody gets on to say that it works properly!! corsair has been in business for over 15 years and are the leaders in ram manufacturing hands down. (sorry supertalent, g.skill, etc.) and no I do not work for them. just some food for thought before u read these ridiculously low reviews and pass up on one the best memory modules out.
