Great Affordable Board

ASRock AB350 Pro4 AM4 AMD Promontory B350 USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
ASRock AB350 Pro4 AM4 AMD Promontory B350 USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Has all the features most people will need Wide range of RAM compatibility

Cons: A second CPU fan header would be nice

Overall Review: Was able to clock my Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3200 at 2800MHz using XMP as of BIOS v 2.60 (6/9/17). Hoping for further BIOS updates to reach the full 3200 MHz. Haven't tried any CPU overclocking yet as I don't need to with my 1700X. This review for ASRock review rebate program.

Most Critical Review

Fan noise is unbearably loud

EVGA 400 N1 100-N1-0400-L1 400W Power Supply
EVGA 400 N1 100-N1-0400-L1 400W Power Supply

Pros: ...it worked?

Cons: The fan was soooo loud, even while my desktop was sitting at idle.

Overall Review: I put this in a low-power budget system (Pentium G3258 and RX 460), but the fan noise was seriously insane. It's worth the few extra dollars to go with the vastly superior 430B. I returned this unit immediately after realizing how loud it was.

Fantastic low-cost board

Slower than advertised

TP-LINK TL-WN881ND Wireless N300 PCI Express Adapter, 300 Mbps, w/ WPS Button, IEEE 802.1b/g/n, 64 / 128-bit WEP, WPA / WPA2, Plug & Play in Windows
TP-LINK TL-WN881ND Wireless N300 PCI Express Adapter, 300 Mbps, w/ WPS Button, IEEE 802.1b/g/n, 64 / 128-bit WEP, WPA / WPA2, Plug & Play in Windows

Pros: Cheap

Cons: 50-70Mbps inches from my Gigabit router with 250Mbps connection. I get 250Mbps speeds on my laptop just fine.

Overall Review: Just installed it, so no experience with connection strength or stability, but I was immediately disappointed with the slow speeds.

Conflicts with some setups, causing failure to POST/boot.

Rosewill N300 Wireless PCI Express Adapter, 300 Mbps (2.4 GHz) PCIe Wi-Fi Network Card for PC
Rosewill N300 Wireless PCI Express Adapter, 300 Mbps (2.4 GHz) PCIe Wi-Fi Network Card for PC

Pros: Works well when it works. Good signal and speed.

Cons: With one of the builds I tried to use it in, it completely prevents the PC from POSTing. Tried updating BIOS, installing drivers, etc. Gave up when I found similar complaints online for particular setups. Antennas are very large. About 8 inches long, and thick in diameter as well.

Overall Review: Build it wouldn't work with was as follows: Motherboard: MSI H81i CPU: Pentium G3258 RAM: Mushkin Stealth 8GB DDR3-1600 SSD: ADATA Ultimate SU800 256GB Case/PSU: InWin BP671 w/ 200W PSU Not sure what the conflicting component was, and didn't take time to try to figure it out, but if you have one of these in your build, I would find a different WiFi adapter.

Great little ITX board

ASRock H110M-ITX/ac LGA 1151 Intel H110 HDMI USB 3.1 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
ASRock H110M-ITX/ac LGA 1151 Intel H110 HDMI USB 3.1 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Integrated Wi-Fi Adapter 6 USB Ports Onboard USB 3.0 and 2.0 adapters Cheap

Cons: Wi-Fi antennas are difficult to connect

Overall Review: Have purchased several of these for office PC builds, and will continue to use this board as long as the price is right.
