It Works

Coboc 6 ft. USB 2.0 A Male to B Male Cable (Black)
Coboc 6 ft. USB 2.0 A Male to B Male Cable (Black)

Pros: It's the right length It's cheap I plugged it in, and it worked

Cons: None

Overall Review: I got this because my computer screen had the option of pluging other usb devices into, but I needed this cord for the usb plugins to work. I got it, I plugged it in, and windows and linux both recognized it on startup. I have no complaints, I knew what I was getting when I got it, and it did exactly as expected. If this is what you need, buy it. It's not like you'll lose a lot of money if comes DOA or something.

Best CD/DVD Drive Ever

Pros: Fast, Cheap, SATA

Cons: When I press the button, it opens up really fast, like it is angy and wants to know why i'm pressing its buttons _this_ time. It is also a bit noisy when it opens, but I never cared about noise before, and I certainly don't now.

Overall Review: I bought this to complete my first computer build, and I must say, it does the job given to it about as well as anyone could ask for. I may consider getting a blu-ray player soon as well. Asus has definitely done a good job here.

Awkward, but good

Linkworld 7 in. 7" convertor from POWER 4 PIN-IDE Female to 15 PIN-SATA Male
Linkworld 7 in. 7" convertor from POWER 4 PIN-IDE Female to 15 PIN-SATA Male

Pros: Converts IDE to sata power included works

Cons: Unplugging the IDE power cable from the card is a huge pain, but this may be a pro. Many cases have no room for anything other than the cords to plug into the devices, so this card won't fit without moving stuff around. it really sticks out from whatever it is plugged into.

Overall Review: I got this because I bought a sata hard drive not knowing that my older computer only had IDE plugins. The case for this old computer had the hard drive plug in areas facing the cover, with about an inch of space between the drive itself and the case cover. I had to plug my hard drive into the cd area so that there was room for the converter to fit. Other than that, it worked great for my needs.

Very Durable

Patriot Xporter Mini 8GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) PSF8GMUSB
Patriot Xporter Mini 8GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) PSF8GMUSB

Pros: Rubber Casing seems to protect the data extremely well Small size makes for easy storage Hole for tying drive to lanyard or some other string to avoid losing it

Cons: Rubber cap is really fun to mess with and i'm afraid it might break before the drive does Cap can't be placed on the backside of the flashdrive, at least, not without stretching the rubber cap.

Overall Review: I bought this for my mother, who teaches English as a second language, and uses it to carry her documents and other stuff. I am the first person she comes to when she has issues, and I have not heard a single complaint about the drive, which means it is working great.

Working Solid RAM

Crucial 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model CT2KIT25664BA1067

Pros: I plugged them in alongside my other single 2GB Ram stick, booted up the computer, and Windows recognized it as well as linux, right off the bat. (Lubuntu 12.04)

Cons: They are a quarter of an inch taller than my first ram stick?

Overall Review: I got these to increase windows 7 performance, I originally had only one 2GB ram stick, and these definitely did what I wanted them to. It's interesting, at its idle state, with only 2GB of ram (on a 64bit system) windows used around 512MB of ram. At it's idle state with 6GB ram, it now uses 2GB just to sit there. I only got a minor performance boost (next is to upgrade my graphics card), so I wonder what windows is putting on the new free space.

It Works

Kingston 2GB DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Desktop Memory Model KVR1066D3N7/2G
Kingston 2GB DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Desktop Memory Model KVR1066D3N7/2G

Pros: 2GB RAM, DDR3. I Opened my computer, I plugged it in, and it worked.

Cons: It's Shorter than the other RAM sticks I bought?

Overall Review: I bought this for an older PC, not realizing that there is a difference between DDR and DDR3, about a year ago, but that's my fault. I built my own PC for the first time, and this fit perfectly in my hand-chosen mother board, so no complaints at all.
