Pros: Quiet, as advertised. Quite cool. Accommodation for two fans.
Cons: Size, if that's really a con...bigger it is, faster it dissipates the heat. Just make sure you have a full ATX case and you should be fine.
Overall Review: lol 10/10 would destroy old heatsink retention bracket again :P But seriously, was worried it may not fit in my case (Raidmax SMILODON) but it fits just fine. The stock AMD retention bracket for the heatsink was a ***** to remove, though.
Falsely advertised.
Pros: Cheap, gold plated. Does work, see cons for further info.
Cons: Cord is NOT 3ft as advertised; the one I received is barely 2ft. Also, this is a DVI-I cable, most modern displays need DVI-D for full image quality, so be aware before you buy this.
Overall Review: Got an RMA for return issued, only to find out it costs more than the cable itself to return it. Very dissatisfied. Will probably just sell it locally and buy a better, longer cable.
Seemed to be what I needed, but...
Pros: Easy to install and set up Nice clear display Simple functions and settings
Cons: Doesn't work properly
Overall Review: Here's the thing. I was using this to control 5 fans (2 front, 2 top, 1 back). Installation was simple and easy, no hassle. Fits in the bay perfectly. Worked great first use, but ever since then if any fan is set to les than 60% power it doesn't spin up, can't spin up, and triggers the alarm. I don't know why this happens but don't have the patience to deal with it. Returning it for a different product.
Rosewill - You won't find better.
Pros: Where to begin? lol I bought two of these; one for front intake, one for rear exhaust to replace the stock fans. They are more than powerful enough and rather silent as well. Lighting is more of a dark blue, and quite intense; I love it. As far as versatility, see other thoughts.
Cons: The metal grates are a pain and a half to get on; the screws aren't fitted for the holes on the fan, so you need something sturdy with a solid grip on it to secure them both to the case and the grate to the fan. At least I know they won't be going anywhere!
Overall Review: Yes, the fan controllers included take up an expansion slot. Make room for them, don't rely on the motherboard/Speedfan to adjust them. They are far more powerful and versatile with the included controllers, which also allow you to use molex power connectors instead of your motherboard's fan connectors.
Seagate. All you need to know.
Pros: Three year OEM warranty. Lots of space. What more can you want?
Cons: Not a complete con (see other thoughts), but Seagate changed from a 5 year to a 3 year warranty OEM. Something to be aware of, all the same.
Overall Review: Little disheartened they changed their OEM warranty to three years instead of five, but at least I've never needed it! I have never once had a Seagate drive fail, and this one is no different.
Excellent supply.
Pros: Virtually any power connector you'll ever need, and there's plenty of them as well. Exhaust fan is nice and power, while still quiet, as well!
Cons: Not modular. Takes a lot of space to house the other connectors you may not be using; get some zipties and you'll be fine, though.
Overall Review: My first one was bad, apparently, but Newegg replaced it quickly enough at no cost. Second one is still going strong, no problems on it.
