Pros: This works as advertised. Just make sure it is using a PCIE 4.0 or Thunderbolt3 or 4 port and you'll be fine.
Cons: The biggest CON is the plastic case. This enclosure has two aluminum finned heatsinks, but the majority of the case is plastic. Very disappointed in that.
Overall Review: Aside from the case, I would definitely recommend this enclosure.
Pros: Using eSata (6gb), I'm getting 244mb/s read and 220mb/s write to a raid 0 array. I have two of these arrays and they have been very dependable. The USB 3 connection is a good backup but is slightly slower and in some cases will need to be connected to a usb hub.
Cons: None that I have seen in over two years of use.
Overall Review: Good value for the money.
