Great quality case with one "short"coming

Lian Li A3-mATX PC Case - Wood Edition - Micro ATX Case - Supports 360mm AIO Cooler & 415mm GPU - Wood Front Panel - No Fans Included - Black (A3X-WD)
Lian Li A3-mATX PC Case - Wood Edition - Micro ATX Case - Supports 360mm AIO Cooler & 415mm GPU - Wood Front Panel - No Fans Included - Black (A3X-WD)

Pros: Excellent appearance. Easy to build in. Excellent fit and finish. Quality materials. Well thought-out layout, and well engineered for various component dimensions and airflow. Reasonable price.

Cons: I decided to use an ITX motherboard and the front USB 3.1 Gen2 cable was too short to reach the header. If the cable had been just a few inches longer, it would have saved me from buying an extension, which was hard to find, and cost around $30CAD.

Overall Review: Overall, I'm satisfied with the case. It's beautiful, has great thermals, and was a pleasure to build in. Unfortunately, the USB 3.1 Gen2 front panel cable being too short detracts from the experience, and could have been avoided if the engineers had tested with a wider selection of MATX/ITX motherboards while still in the prototype stage. I highly recommend this case to anyone building with an MATX motherboard.

Most Critical Review

Every few minutes, fan makes a noticeable grinding noise.

Cooler Master MasterWatt Series MPX-5501-AMAAB-U1 550 W ATX 12V V2.4 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Semi-Modular Active PFC Power Supply
Cooler Master MasterWatt Series MPX-5501-AMAAB-U1 550 W ATX 12V V2.4 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Semi-Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: cheap functional

Cons: This noise is a deal-breaker for me. Even if the fan was constantly on at a set RPM, this would be better than this noise. It sounds like something is rubbing up against the fan, but there is nothing obstructing it.

Overall Review: If this power supply is put in a server, or remote PC, then I suppose it would be okay for that purpose. If it is in your office or living room, then this sound will drive you crazy after a few days of putting up with it. I'm outside of the return period, so I guess I'm stuck with it, since it's still technically functional.

Great quality for price

Pros: Currently the cheapest 1080p monitor I could find. Great viewing angles, color, and even lighting. Vga, hdmi, and dvi jacks are nice.

Cons: Wish it had a displayport jack

Overall Review: Best you could get for the price
