Great router but bizarrely slow starting up..lol
Pros: - Good Brand - 1000mbps LAN ports - Nice UI admin interface - Easy firmware updates over internet via admin UI - 2.4ghz and 5ghz Wifi Bands
Cons: - This router is bizarrely slow to boot / startup. It literally takes several minutes before the internet connection goes live. Not sure if this can be fixed via a firmware update? This is the slowest router to startup that I've ever owned..lol
Overall Review: - Definitely would recommend the router to any home user as long as they are aware of the slow boot time ;)
Do NOT Recommend as app doesn't work!!
Pros: NONE
Cons: Warning to all, the Lano Pano app does not work any more therefore the product is useless as it's can't be setup. Please do you research and check play store and to confirm this!
This ASUS RX 580 is NOT as good as the ASUS RX 480 for cryptomining!!
Pros: - Good gaming GPU, good FPS - Good brand name with ASUS - 3 Year Warranty - Dual Fans
Cons: - Not a very good cryptomining card as the memory is cheap Elpida and can't be clocked much beyond 1850 mhz if you want it to remain stable. - Weak Ethereum mining performance, it just can't hit that 28 hash sweet spot like the ASUS Dual RX 480 4gb's can. - As other reviewers have noted, it runs very hot and uses quite a lot of power compared to the Powercolor RX 580 4gb which I also own. - I bought 3 of these GPUs for cryptomining and one already has a broken fan after only a month. - Plastic is weak, those fan blades can break easy if you nudge them even slightly while they are spinning.
Overall Review: - OVERALL: I would recommend this card for gamers but NOT for cryptominers, miners will likely be disappointed with it's performance, power usage, heat, etc. - I would still recommend ASUS products in general as I own many others that are fantastic, but this ASUS RX 580 is a poor model and quite disappointing :( - Hopefully ASUS will improve the construction quality and lower power usage in future GPU models!
DO NOT RECOMMEND - MSI MOTHERBOARD WAS DEFECTIVE AND RMA SUPPORT IS POOR!
Pros: - 7 PCI-E Slots - Reasonable Price
Cons: - My motherboard had defective PCI-E slots, confirmed via test multiple devices - RMA support is poor. I sent away the board for RMA two weeks ago, it was received 2 days after I shipped it and still no update on my RMA despite it being confirmed as received. MSI RMA has a VERY SLOW turn around. For this reason I DO NOT recommend MSI motherboards and will likely never purchase the MSI brand ever again!
Overall Review: - I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE MSI BRAND AS THEIR RMA SUPPORT IS EXTREMELY POOR! - For example, RMA'd an ASUS video card of mine with such fast turnaround that I had it back within a week and was also offered a complimentary upgrade from the 4gb version to the 8gb version as they were out of stock of my original 4gb model. My replacement video card was brand new and sealed in box too. - Will buy ASUS products in the future and not MSI for sure!
