Perfect, except for SLI

Pros: Cool, cool, and just ..., well, keeps the card cool.
Cons: Won't work in SLI, unless there's some sort of SLI bridge that I am not aware of. Standard SLI bridges don't fit.
Overall Review: Ok, so if you try to fit this in a HTPC, or SSF case, then yeah, it won't fit, HELLOOOOO!!! If you are a REGULAR tower case, it will fit just fine. I am using it in an Antec 900 (which is one of the more narrow cases out there), and it fits just fine.
shoddy workmanship

Pros: Nice size for larger hands. Great that it can be used while it is charging, no interruption in whatever you were doing just because the battery ran out. Replaceable feet are a nice touch, however ..., read the cons.
Cons: The right mouse button started to give about an hour into me using it. At first it was just a little, I could depress the button perhaps half a millimeter before it would hit the contact, and then I could actually make a right mouse click. Two days into using it his became about a millimeter. Now I can put the mouse button down quite a ways before it hits the spot of resistance an then push down further to actually make a right click. This is extremely annoying as it's basically a 2-stage right mouseclick. The feet don't glide well at all. Prior to buying this I was using a Razer Copperhead and it was gliding effortlessly and more importantly SILENTLY over my mouse pad. The X8 offers a lot of resistance even when using the white feet, and it is making substantial plastic-on-plastic noise. The thumb buttons are not very responsive. Must press down quite hard, will often move mouse which is not good for games which require precise aim.
Overall Review: I used to use a Logitec MX1000 for a long time, and I was really happy with that mouse for my larger hands, but charging it was unreliable as the charging dock contacts would wear out and the mouse wouldn't make sufficient contact with the dock. The Copperhead was a stop-gap, really too small for me, but awesome performance and gliding. I really wanted the X8 to be an adequate replacement, instead it will have to be RMA'ed and then sold on "the auction site that may not be named on here". Final thoughts: Great concept, poor implementation. Stay away.
terrible mouse lag

Pros: Great mouse for large hands, if it would only work. Rechargeable battery. Wireless and wired operation.
Cons: High price. Mouse not usable in wireless mode due to lag/hesitation
Overall Review: I bought this mouse at work through Newegg, hence I don't show up here as verified owner. The mouse experiences horrible mouse lag where the cursor will simply not move for 1-2 seconds at all. This mouse was supposed to replace a wireless G7 which worked flawlessly in the same environment. I purchased the MX based on the overall feedback, I wish I would have checked Google for issues first. There are hundreds if not thousands of users who experience the same problem where the mouse just lags terribly. Logitec says that it's caused by interference from power sources or other wireless devices. The reality is that the unifying receiver is junk, it's an aggravating receiver nothing more. The mouse works fine when using it in wired mode. --- DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
Terribad design for 1366

Pros: Has probably enough cooling power to chill down Africa.
Cons: You will need a motherboard the size of Africa to make it fit. The clearances on this cooler are just terrible. Tried on two different 1366 boards and it simply will not fit due to either interfering with the RAM or the chip heat sinks of the board.
Overall Review: Make sure sure sure that your board has basically no components that higher than perhaps 1/3 of an inch. I would put money on this cooler not fitting most 1366 boards since most of them come with heatsinks that are in the way or the memory has some sort of heatsink on it that goes above the actual memory chip. Save your cash and buy a different product.
Two Drives DOA

Pros: Supposedly good performance if you happen to get a working one.
Cons: DOA, two drives, both are clicking and beeping when powered on.
Overall Review: Newegg HDD packaging is substandard. These drives have been wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap and were bouncing around in the shipping box among other items. It doesn't say that I bought them here because I ordered them at work.
vibration noise

Pros: Quieter than stock HSF.
Cons: There is audible vibration noise coming from the unit. Very annoying frequency. The cause is vibration between the fan and the heatsink itself. The solution is to put some double-sided-sticky foam tape between the fan and the heat sink, but be sure to do that before you actually mount it. Otherwise you will need to remove the HSF in order to get the fan off of the heat sink.
Overall Review: You get what you pay for I guess. I don't think this HSF is much better in cooling than the stock versions these days, though it is quieter. I used to get the Ninja all the time, and figured I should try a smaller unit. It's back to the Ninja for me now. P.S.: I had bought this for work, hence I don't show up as user who bought this from newegg.
