Fantastic price for fantastic RAM

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 24GB (6 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9T2-24GBRL
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 24GB (6 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9T2-24GBRL

Pros: It worked immediately without any complications at all. I took out 6x2GB of CORSAIR DOMINATOR RAM, plugged in 6x4GB of this G.SKILL Ripjaws RAM and my Sabertooth X58 PC went from 12GB total RAM to 24GB total RAM instantly. At this price I have no regrets whatsoever.

Cons: Nope.

Overall Review: If you've got an X58 chipset MB with less than 24GB of RAM you should consider upgrading now. Especially if you're running a lot of programs simultaneously and find yourself pushing the limits of your memory.

Not worth the price

Coboc HS-25 25 ft. HDMI High Speed with Ethernet - Type A to Type A
Coboc HS-25 25 ft. HDMI High Speed with Ethernet - Type A to Type A

Pros: The connectors fit snugly into the HDMI receptacles on my laptop computer, my raspberry PI and my digital television. Also, the cable is lightweight and easy to store back in the bag. I guess it could be used as a clothesline if necessary.

Cons: I can't get a clean image with the cable. Connecting the laptop to the television over the holiday I got green dots ALL OVER the screen when trying to use skype to do a video call. That was my first experience with this cable. Today I tried to connect my new Raspberry Pi to the TV and, when first plugged in, SOMETIMES I'll see a FLASH on the screen that looks like a valid image, but then the screen turns black and stays black. And that's IT. The cable has no value to me.

Overall Review: I guess I will have to buy a different brand. This one won't work for me.

Nice new video card.

EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, 08G-P4-6286-KR, 8GB GDDR5X, RGB LED, 10CM FAN, 10 Power Phases, Double BIOS, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC)
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, 08G-P4-6286-KR, 8GB GDDR5X, RGB LED, 10CM FAN, 10 Power Phases, Double BIOS, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC)

Pros: It seems to run cool and quit. It's much faster than my old GTX 570 card. The image is sharp and I think this card has added new life to my aging computer.

Cons: Perhaps I need to read the manual but the RGB LED..... seems to always be white light for me. Perhaps it's in the way I use the card or something I need to do, but I thought the lighted card would show different colors. I've left my case open and have ONLY seen a white light coming from the card. Oh well, no big deal.

Overall Review: The card works fine and I think, for the quality and speed of the card, the price is pretty good. I'd recommend it for those looking for a fast video card for their PC.

Pretty graphics but the dialog doesn't match the animation

NVIDIA GIFT - For Honor or Ghost Recon: Wildlands
NVIDIA GIFT - For Honor or Ghost Recon: Wildlands

Pros: It looks like it MIGHT be fun, IF I can ever understand how to play it. Admittedly I'm not a gamer but I did get through Duke Nukem 3D and Quake successfully; the ORIGINAL ONES from the mid '90's on an 80486DX4-100 PC. But, give me PAC MAN and DIG DUG over these new, super complex storyline games any day, please!

Cons: I've invested 2 hours of my life TRYING to play it. So far I ran around a mountain top, hopped in a car, driven around and crashed it, rolled it, ran over civilians, and the car still drives like new. I haven't gotten ANY further than that. Where can I find instructions to teach me how to play? Also, the opening sequence was pretty sad. The mouths didn't sync with the words. It would have been nice if they hadn't started the game with such a cartoonlike opening sequence.

Overall Review: If you're looking for a review from a hardcore gamer, please check for comments other than this. I'm a novice gamer and am frustrated in trying to learn this game. So far it hasn't been fun, but it looks like it could be...... IF you check out reviews of it on YouTube. I'm wondering how to get to the fun?

Find a better adapter

Nippon Labs HDB-5250 3.5" HDD Plastic Bracket Black Color
Nippon Labs HDB-5250 3.5" HDD Plastic Bracket Black Color

Pros: I finally got it to work but with much effort and not the best of results.

Cons: The mounting holes and the mounting screws are not in standard locations. If your case doesn't allow you "full range" of screw placement you'll have to do what I did and get a drill and drill through the plastic sides of this adapter to make it fit. Not only that but the package of screws included with the adapter are NOT standard thread screws. Don't try screwing them into your hard drive less you strip out the holes on the side of your expensive drive.

Overall Review: While I finally got it to work for me I had to invest time in marking and drilling out holes in the side of the adapter. I also had to buy more mounting screws as the ones included in the kit are worthless to me. Not only that but my Antec case uses quick-release slide bars for the 5.25" bays and even with the careful precision drilling I did, the sliders don't "click" into place quite as they should. There is still some play in the mounted drives. I would look for a different adapter if I had to do it again.

Cheap piece of mind

iPad Mini Screen Protector, Tech Armor Anti-Glare/Anti-Fingerprint Apple iPad Mini 1 / 2 / 3 Film Screen Protector [3-Pack]
iPad Mini Screen Protector, Tech Armor Anti-Glare/Anti-Fingerprint Apple iPad Mini 1 / 2 / 3 Film Screen Protector [3-Pack]

Pros: The product is as advertised. Nice, transparent, and tough.

Cons: None noted, but I haven't put it to the test yet. The test will come in the summer sun at the beach when I see if the anti-glare product works as advertised. My bet is it will do just fine.

Overall Review: When I bought my wife her expensive iPad mini there was NO WAY I wasn't going to spend a couple extra bucks to put a shield over the screen. My experience has shown this to be "cheap" insurance for expensive hardware.
