Pros: Has a pretty layout

Cons: I have been using every version of Windows for 12 years, turn them on,even the early ones that required some work, I finally figured them out. But this new version windows 8 pro has so many security defaults that I finally after 6 months just throwing in the towel. The pretty start page shows pictures, fine, but then you have to go back to start page to reopen each picture off the Computer page to do anything with it. and all this with another picture program which takes time to upload. the corner fold down is a pain, search is different with each user and a lot of time, you want to do something, have to open up administrator, go to administrator, cannot do that either ,have to use another account. So have to change user and do all this allover again. then I have a slot on computer case that allows you to have another HD attached, when it shows up, you have to unlock Bit Locker. I have never set up Bit Locker so do not have a clue on what the password is, so have to add its long set of registration numbers every time just to open up this HD and see the files.

Overall Review: Never thought after 6 months I am still cursing this out. After the fact, learned that this operating system was primarily designed for laptops, I have a desktop. This little detail was never mentioned until I started searching on internet in forums for help.

Pros: Worked fine the first time

Cons: On the next backup, messed up my computer big time, had to reinstall OS. After uninstalling the program, it kept me from opening Windows in the normal way, Acronis Boot Error, finally it would not open at all.

Overall Review: Tech support tried, but were not able to make it work. Threw it away,

Pros: First back up perfect

Cons: Next back ups were un-viewable

Overall Review: Spemt three tries to tech support, they were unable to get the backups to be useable. Also got auto disconnect after 20-30 min when then were unable to figure out problem .. Bottom line it messed up my second back up HD big time, then it started locking up reboot on Drive C. , would only open in Safe Mode. Finally had to just reload my HD and start over. I have never had so much aggrivation from a software, I burned it!!!!

Pros: Did a good backup the first time used

Cons: The second time, there was no way it could be viewed, or opened. tech support did not help, just wasted my time and then disconnected

Overall Review: I ended up having to do a clean reinstall, it even messed up my reboot, Finally it crashed the HD. only would reload in Safe Mode.
