Much improved over GT5

Gran Turismo 6 PlayStation 3
Gran Turismo 6 PlayStation 3

Pros: This is a much improved version of Gran Turismo. They finally got all the super and hyper car licensing, ie: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Zonda, McLaren, and many others. Tracks are pretty much the same as they have been with some new ones. The is no more B-Spec. It is all about the player racing and not coaching the computer on when to push the car and so on. Lots of cars to choose from, though certain makes have a number of the same car, just with Type S or Type R or some other spec. Most of the races are a little more fair. You have to meet the PP (Performance Points) before you can enter a race. No more 1000 HP vs 450 HP races. Licensing is much shorter, you don't have 10 licensing tests to complete, you only have 6 now. Very realistic racing experience.

Cons: You start out with a Honda Fit, you don't get any other option. There is still no qualifying lap, you start in last on every race. I wouldn't mind if the opposing cars gave a little more competition if you had a qualifying lap.

Overall Review: No super turbo option. Not really a con, but it would be nice to be able to install a super charger and turbo charger on certain cars. You don't get a free car after winning each event. You do have to buy certain cars for one race, then you never use the car again. A lot of people say all the engines sound the same. If you do the cockpit view most of them do sound different. When you put a titanium racing exhaust on them, they do sound a lot alike though. I wish they would throw in some BOV options for the turbo cars.

Not what I was expecting

Gran Turismo 5
Gran Turismo 5

Pros: Graphics look great. The tracks are all on point. They are laid out exactly as they are in real life, right down to the Top Gear test track.

Cons: Half the game is B-spec, where you sit there and watch the computer race. This is lame, especially since the computer is terrible. Not the claimed 1000 cars, unless you count every trim of the cars (type R, type S, RS, SS, etc.) Not every car can be damaged and/or upgraded. Damage isn't very accurate.

Overall Review: This should have been a much better game for almost 6 years of waiting.

Nice addition to any case

5.25" Touch Screen Fan Controller
5.25" Touch Screen Fan Controller

Pros: This is a nice little accessory to look at on the front of your case. Controls up to 5 fans pretty easily. Has both min 4 pin and molex connectors on each controller cable. Has 5 separate temperature sensors that you can place anywhere on the inside of you case. All the cables are labeled with numbers so you know which ones are for which fan. Make sure you set them up in some sort of order based on the layout of your case if you want to keep track of which one you are turning up. Either that or write it down. As far as the auto setting goes, it seems to set them based on the temperature, so place the sensors close to the fan it is controlling. Touch screen is pretty responsive to the touch. Easy readout.

Cons: The tape they give you to secure the temperature sensors really sucks. After I stuck it, it never seems to hold too well and with the slightest tug it would pull right off. This should be the last thing you secure in the case due to this. Doesn't give any indication that you pushed one of the touch screen controls. The only problem this causes is when you want to turn it off or reset it, you have no idea if you pushed the button or not, so you have to hope you did and wait until some action happens.

Overall Review: This is pretty much just for looks. Sure it lets you turn your fans up and down depending on how you are using your computer, but the motherboard should be all you really need. It is nice if you don't have enough mini 4 pin connectors on your board because this will give you at least 5. Recommended for any PC enthusiast.

Monster Case

Rosewill Full Tower Gaming Computer Case, support up to HPTX MB, Support Dual PSU, come with 8 cooling Fans - BlackHawk-Ultra
Rosewill Full Tower Gaming Computer Case, support up to HPTX MB, Support Dual PSU, come with 8 cooling Fans - BlackHawk-Ultra

Pros: This thing is a beast of a case. It really can't be described as a case. It is more like a mansion for your PC components. 4 front 5.25 slots gives you enough room for a Blue-Ray burner, fan controller, card reader and still have one more slot for anything else you could need. You could throw a 5.25 to 3.5 hot swap bay in there, but you also have one of those on the top of the case. Has a total of 6 USB ports on top of the case, 4 USB 2.0's and 2 USB 3.0's. Lots of cooling huge fans on the top, front, and side. Two stage cooling on the HDD bays for a push-pull affect on airflow over them. You can cover the entire side panel with 120 mm fans, a total of nine fans if you so please. Upgrading from an original Antec 900 into this case actually lowered my CPU temps by almost 10 degrees with the upgraded airflow. Lots of cut outs along the back panel for all sorts of cable routing. 10, 3.5 inch HDD bays. This thing can easily be a NAS as well, the best gaming NAS ever. The wheels make it a little easier to move. The red LED's on the fans are not overly bright. I don't have liquid cooling, but I am sure this thing could easily fit a couple of radiators. Also has plenty of screws to mount all your HDD's and further secure your optical or other 5.25 inch drives or accessories.

Cons: Due to the sheer size of this case the mesh on the front and top can bow a small amount on shipping. Luckily I didn't have that issue. It does seem a little bowed on the front, but isn't that bad. Also due to the sheer size the side panels can be a little tough to pull off and put back on. The reset button can be a little tough to push if you have big fingers, but it is good so you don't accidentally push it. I honestly rarely ever use the reset button anyway. I'm really surprised this doesn't have a second power supply spot. It could easily fit a second one, but you would have to find a way to route a cable. Doesn't really have a side window, but the side is mesh, just like the front. Cable routing can be a little tough as far as cables coming off your power supply, but you have all sorts of room to hide cables that can't reach.

Overall Review: I decide to swap everything out of my old Antec 900 case into this case. Now that I think about it, I think a full tower would have been good enough, but I just like looking at it. It is a little over 2 feet tall and just glows with awesomeness. I didn't have any issues getting everything to fit that was cramped in my old 900. Kind of makes you want more HDD's, just to fill some of the empty slots.

Logitech MK710 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo — Includes Keyboard and Mouse, Stylish Design, Built-In LCD Status Dashboard, Long Battery Life
Logitech MK710 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo — Includes Keyboard and Mouse, Stylish Design, Built-In LCD Status Dashboard, Long Battery Life

Pros: I did some research on a number of wireless mice and keyboard kits before finally deciding on this one. Although I don't trust everyone's review, it seemed like more people agreed on this one on a number of different sites. I can say the reviews are correct, this is a great wireless mouse and keyboard set. Full keyboard, with a battery meter, caps, num, and scroll lock on the mini LCD at the top of the keyboard. Has media keys and calculator key. Is light weight and has 2 separate feet for different levels of comfort. The mouse is a laser mouse, so it is accurate on a number of surfaces. Has a button to switch between endless scrolling and click scrolling. Allows you to scroll through pages very quickly. Has a hole inside the battery compartment of the mouse to store the wireless receiver. Haven't tested the range fully, but it works for me when the receiver is about 10-15 feet away with very little if no lag. Also has an On/Off switch on both mouse and keyboard and long battery life.

Cons: Haven't had any issues so far.

Overall Review: Would definitely recommend this mouse to anyone wanting to get rid of their wired mouse and keyboard.

Rosewill RCHD-12003 10 ft. Black Ultra Slim HDMI Cable w/ RedMere Technology

Pros: Great, slim, wonderful HDMI cables. These cables are easy to get around and maneuver through everything. No lag and no delays on any device. 3D also works with no issues.

Cons: I had an issue with one of the cables that I purchased. It kept giving no input on numerous TV's and devices. Got it RMA's and exchanged in less than 4 days. Newegg rocks!!

Overall Review: These are some of the best HDMI cables I have ever used.
