Quite Nice
Pros: - Elegant Design & Ideal solution for an HTPC - Mouse Tracking is very responsive - USB chargeable which is more convenient over swapping batteries. - Win10 detected immediately, didn't need driver disc.
Cons: - Right Click Button not well placed - Should be swapped with 'back' button - Battery is fully internally cased and cannot be replaced. - No software for button mapping of any kind.
Overall Review: If you're putting together your first HTPC and you're looking to step away from a full size bluetooth keyb/mouse like I was because there's ZERO room on the couch, this is a GOOD starting point for figuring out what will best suit your needs.
Great Concept, Mediocre Execution
Pros: - Bluetooth sync is easy. - Comfortable Xbox 360-style design - Extremely lightweight, maybe a bit too much? - Media buttons are a nice plus - Phone clamp feels sturdy and tight
Cons: - Battery does not seem to hold a charge, unit maybe defective? - Battery is not removable, appears to be built-in. (Although screws are accessible, I haven't cracked it open yet.) - D-Pad and bumpers feel loose and cheap.
Overall Review: I had enough time to sync it to my device but given that it doesn't actually hold a charge for longer than a few seconds I can't say much about the responsiveness beyond that.
Great by day, not by night
Pros: - Sleek design, very interesting clean look visually. - Low speed is quiet - Nightlight is soothing, not offensively bright.
Cons: - No medium speed. This turns out is a deal breaker, see review notes. - High speed is TOO LOUD, this mode is not usable for nighttime.
Overall Review: I would NOT recommend this unit. Yes, its great that it uses a H13 grade filter and yes it looks stunning but its all for show. The low speed mode doesn't move enough air in a simple 10ftx12ft bedroom while the high speed mode is unusable at night because its simply too loud. Why there isn't a medium setting is truly baffling, a compromise between these two speeds would probably be acceptable for day & night use. Look elsewhere if you want a good night time air filter.
Not bad... if you know what you're doing
Pros: - Good Image Quality for both Day / Night - Small and Compact - Lots of configuration options in the Web UI - Automatic Firmware Updates - Microphone is okay indoors at 4 - 5 ft.
Cons: - Provided PC EnViewer software does NOT work for Win10 x 64. Will not detect anything. - 720p Live Viewing is only possible in IE. Evidently they only support 640x480 in Chrome. - Android App Setup not very intuitive for people that don't understand networking. - Wifi Mode doesn't support certain combinations of security protocols. (TKIP + WPA2 or AES + WPA) - Has mountable screws but is not rated for outdoor usage?
Overall Review: -Setup is easy but not straightforward. You HAVE to set the camera up through the web client FIRST, then the Android App will work properly. - I just wanted a simple home cam to watch the front door and I have it hardwired to my network, this is the RIGHT way to do it if you want that clear 30FPS. The image quality is surprisingly good especially the IR night mode. Optimum viewing focal point is probably 6 - 8 ft. - Didn't test WDS or wireless because why buy a 30FPS 720p camera to use it wirelessly? -
