Pros: Fast, smooth and cool (in temps). Good reliability due to efficient design. Fujitsu drives are well regarded in the high end commercial sector. Hence a good argument for trickle down technology to their consumer hard drives. If you're looking for an all-around solid drive, consider this one. OTOH, if you're a hot rodder, you'll most likely lean toward the WD Scorpio Black or Seagate Momentus.

Cons: This con is marginal. No clicking, whirring or vibration, however, the drive emits an interesting, low level "whoosh" sound.

Overall Review: Years ago, Fujitsu experienced an unfortunate downturn regarding it's mobile HD's due NOT for it's design and engineering, but because the coatings used to protect the platter and supplied by a third party was found to be defective. Unfortunately, the residue of that era somewhat taints it's reputation. Since then, Fujitsu has produced extremely sound and leading edge hard drives. This drive is no exception.
