Great Performance

Pros: Crazy performance
Cons: Heat
Overall Review: Using this CPU for 3D design work in Inventor and Showcase along with some Adobe software et al. Programs fly with the processor. Rendering is insanely fast, utilizing all 8-cores at 100%, self-overclocking as needed. This thing gets HOT - Especially when working it at 100%. You will need an aftermarket HS/Fan assembly if you intend on using this for anything serious. Hit mid 60's (C) with stock HS/Fan whilst waiting on aftermarket to arrive. Overall great performance for this price range - Very happy.
Update on Product

Pros: n/a
Cons: Warranty = USELESS
Overall Review: This is an update in regards to the first review I left on this product. Do NOT buy from this manufacturer - They have no offices outside of Taiwan and suggest to seek warranty help from the retailer (which in America we only do within 30 days of purchase). While they do offer a phone number for calling Taiwan, the language barrier is too great and it would cost too much for shipping / customes, et al. STAY AWAY FROM TEAM GROUP PRODUCTS - Newegg shouldn't even sell their products.
Great Professional Card

Pros: + Cheap + Small footprint + 75W TDP - doesn't require additional power + 4x DP1.4 ports
Cons: - None
Overall Review: Built myself a new workstation to replace an 8 year old one. Purchased this card for my build after looking at high-end consumer cards and Nvidia's professional offering. I wanted a low-watt card that wasn't loud and would power Adobe CC, Autodesk Design Suite, SolidWorks, Cubase, and other similar programs. The consumer cards used more power than I wanted and while I knew they would mostly work, I didn't want to chance any incompatibilities. The Nvidia offerings were easily $200 more for close to the same performance. So I gave this WX 5100 card a try and it's worked perfectly for me. Powering 2x LG 43" 4K LED monitors no problem. Very quite and lower power which is keeping my tiny studio much cooler than my previous box. Highly recommend this card for the professional on a budget.
Glad to have found this

Pros: Works for my DesignJet 450C 36" Plotter, which is now nearly 20 years old!
Cons: I think HP has discontinued this #40 ink.
Overall Review: Looks like HP has discontinued this product. Not sure what I'm going to do now to keep my plotter going, I don't have $3,000+ for a new one! The ink I received in Jan 2017 expires Dec 2017. I know I'll get another 1-2 years out of it since I only plot black line drawings seasonally (Jan/Jul) before it starts to dry up.
Great looks with a fan at a good price

Pros: - Very small and compact - Fan for airflow - Stylish without gimmicks
Cons: - Not really a con, but like others have said, the external power supply is big relative to the drive enclosure
Overall Review: Needed a new external drive enclosure to host my RAID1 backup system. This was essentially the cheapest one out there, but also the one I liked the look of the most. The case is fully plastic, but it has a brushed aluminum appearance. I don't mind at all and I'm sure it help keep the cost down. Very glad it has a fan and my drives have been running cool in it. I only turn this device on Saturday night to do an incremental back-up, so no worry about it getting "too loud" or "too hot." Overall, I'm very satisfied with it. One note, the USB 3 cable is short (1m), which seems typical these days. I barely had enough length to hook it up within my IT cabinet.
Seems good at a good price

Pros: - High capacity - Good speed - Good cache size - Good value ($/GB)
Cons: - None so far
Overall Review: Been running RAID 1 on my personal workstation for 17 years, with external backup to a RAID 1 array. Finally bought a small home server to keep all my data on and have been looking for drives for almost 1 year. I finally bought these due to their sale price at about $140 each. Have had them running for one week now with no issues. Both drives I ordered pass all hardware tests before establishing the array. These replaced 2x 2GB WD Enterprise drives I was running and were 95% full. Without any official testing, I feel these run--for all intents and purposes--equally well for my needs. I use my server for my small business and access files for Adobe CS, AutoDesk Design Suite (Inventor, Vault, Showcase, CAD), Cubase 5 and a few other creative/design programs. These drives have no issues playing back or opening files 1GB+ in size. My only observation is they make a different sound than my current drives, something I personally have to get used to. Otherwise I've been very happy with them thus far. Hope they'll last me 7 years, which is how long they drives they replaced have been in 24/7 service for.
