Pros: A pretty good computer. You can switch the lids. Great for basic computing. Very shiny. Lightweight for the size.

Cons: Preinstalled Dell bloatware is terrible. As other reviewers have noted, you need to take apart the entire machine to remove the HDD. Also the optical drive is very loud. Fortunately for me, the HDD is sufficient for my needs, and I rarely use the optical drive. For others, though, these may be dealbreakers.

Overall Review: First thing I did was create a partition for Linux, which runs great with the hardware. I kept Windows for light gaming, which it does OK, just don't expect to be running BF3 on this. I got this during the November sale, but I don't think I would buy one at full price. Overall, I am happy with this machine.

Pros: Big, shiny, glossy and awesome. Not to mention totally sweet.

Cons: The HDMI and composite cable connections give terrible image quality. It takes a noticeably longer time to wake up from sleep compared other monitors I have used. You need the remote to access the menu.

Overall Review: I use this primarily as a monitor. As other reviewers have stated, you have to mess around to get the HDMI connection working properly. Do yourself a favor and get a DVI cable, it works out of the box. Hooked up a PS2 to test it out as a TV. Speakers seem okay. The composite cable connection gave me terrible picture quality, maybe you can adjust that, but I didn't feel like trying to figure it out. Works great as a monitor.
