Comments: After shopping around Newegg for a HDD enclosure, i found this to be one of the cheapest cases with both USB 2.0 and IEEE 1394. I was hesitant to buy some of the cheaper cases becuase of some of the bad reviews about formatting and broken transfers. I've had this for a couple days and probably transferred a good 100gb from backups, but still no failure. The two ports is useful becuase although firewire is faster, my desktop doesn't have a firewire port. It's also really simple looking and nothing too fancy. The power switch is also usefil for shutting the drive when your not using it, as it gets kind of warm when it's running

Pros: Has a lot of options in BIOS

Cons: The board died for me after 3 months of use. I was using my computer and all of a sudden it powered down. It refused to start up and diagnostic LED1 on the board wasn't lit. Apparently I'm not the only person with this problem as well as there are multiple forum posts of people with LED1 problems with the exact same symptoms as me. I'm hoping the RMA process for this board is quick, if it is then this board is probably worth 4 stars as it worked fine. If not I don't think I'll ever buy a MSI product ever again.
