Excellent 5090 by MSI!

MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 5090 32GB GDDR7 PCI Express 5.0 Graphics Card RTX 5090 32G VENTUS 3X OC

Pros: - Great performance. - Quiet operation, even under heavy load. - Full three-slot PCI-E bracket. - Smaller dimensions than many other 5090 AIB cards. - Did not have to use the included anti-sag stand (likely thanks to the above two pros). - The backplate looks great. - It wasn't missing any ROPs.

Cons: - It does not have a dual BIOS. - I'm not a huge fan of the GPU's physical design (specifically the light grey parts of the cooler shroud). - It does not have a "zero RPM" fan mode (though the fan is extremely quiet even under heavy load).

Overall Review: I would recommend this product to anyone looking to get a 5090. It performs great and is quiet even under heavy load. It is likely an even better option for those with more space-constrained cases, as it is a smaller design for a 5090 (not as small as the Founders Edition, but smaller than most other AIB cards). If given the option, I might choose a different 5090, mostly for aesthetic reasons, but this GPU is an excellent choice despite this.

Most Critical Review

Good performance with loud coil wine and fan noise

ASRock Creator Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 ATX Graphics Card RX7900XTX CT 24G

Pros: - Performance is within the acceptable margins for what I would expect for this GPU

Cons: - Extreme coil wine that can border on unacceptable - Blower-style fan gets extremely loud when the GPU is under full load

Overall Review: While the performance is fine, I suggest avoiding this GPU for another with quieter noise and without such significant coil wine.

Amazing for gamers

Pros: - Excellent temperatures (especially compared to the prior X3D parts). - PBO + curve optimizer makes for a single overclocking experience.

Cons: - None.

Overall Review: This processor is, hands down, the best CPU I've owned in terms of gaming performance.
