Pros: cheap raw storage
Cons: not an SSD so speeds will be bottlenecked if you use it as a primary drive
Overall Review: if you are looking for cheap storage this is it. you could use this as your primary drive or a secondary drive but in a world that includes ssd drives I would strongly suggest using this for what it's meant for: raw data storage. I already have nvme drive and a nand ssd but I have a lot of stuff to store and it became way too costly to store them on ssd. So far this drive has been rock solid. I've always had WD hard drives because they know how to make a rock solid drive. Not the fastest in the world but it will definitely get the job done.
Pros: works as advertised. no drop in performance
Cons: so far none
Overall Review: so far it works as advertised and that's all I'm concerned about
Pros: yes it does work as advertised
Cons: a bit of a learning curve to figure out how best to use it in your particular set up. it will take some time getting used to it.
Overall Review: if you need something like this, this one is good and at a reasonable price
Cons: Doesn’t work
Overall Review: First by the time this actually got to me there was only a day left to decide whether to return it. Unfortunately this thing lasted a grand total of two days so it was a lost cause. Do not buy.
Pros: it works well
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: I got two of these now and they both work great. I don't get speeds like an m.2 but I wasn't expecting that anyway but still light years faster than any mechanical hard drive I've ever had. I got my OS and video and photos on my m.2 but for everything else I put it on this drive.
Pros: it works
Cons: cheaply made
Overall Review: very cheaply made and designed but otherwise it does work fine
Pros: strong fan yet still relatively quiet
Cons: it's a little bulky. it sits right up against your mobo components. so you may have to put it in a different bay in order for it to fit.
Overall Review: a good fan for the money. uses molex connector.
Pros: plenty of ram and processor horsepower with a pcie 1tb SSD. Perfect for productivity on the go.
Cons: -webcam does not work until you install ALL the updates to windows.
-this particular model does NOT have the numeric touchpad. no way to have known that before I bought it. probably the reason why it was discounted.
Overall Review: for what it is it's a good computer for the money.
Pros: -lots of power
-lots of memory
-fits nearly all cases
Overall Review: rock solid reasonably priced card that has what you need for most games and without most of the stuff you may not need
Pros: affordable and it works as advertised
Cons: not a lot of options
Overall Review: if you need a cheap and easy to use network switch, this is it.
Pros: -solid construction
-lots of features
-lots of ports
-has Bluetooth already onboard
-lots of ports for RGB and water-cooling if needed
Cons: -must update the bios prior to installing windows, otherwise it will just crash on you while trying to do anything.
-software for the onboard lan doesn't work until you fully install windows with all the updates. fortunately I was able to use the wifi for that function.
-only one pcie 4.0 slot. the other is a pcie 3.0.
-the 4 and 8 pin power port placement is a bit odd and was kind of hard to plug in
Overall Review: overlooking all the issues mentioned, once you have it up and running this is a solid board that will definitely serve your needs for many years to come.
Pros: great drive
Overall Review: it works great
Pros: if you've never bought a chromebook then you are missing out. I got this for my kid's school. It is perfect if all you are doing is web based applications and you don't mind using google apps.
Cons: Chromebook uses ChromeOS which is not anything like windows so there will be a learning curve. Also this particular model only has one USB port and one USB-c port that is be occupied with the charger and the audio jack is right up against it. Also there is no HDMI port. But fortunately my kid won't be utilizing any of that.
Overall Review: Just like any chromebook, you turn it on and it works right out of the box. this particular model is fast and efficient and good if you don't mind any of the cons listed.
