Great Card

MSI GeForce GTX 980 GAMING 4G
MSI GeForce GTX 980 GAMING 4G

Pros: These are really good cards. They are about 1 1/2 years old now but will still plow through just about anything on max settings on a 144Hz 1440p monitor.

Cons: No cons I can really think of. I bought these just before the 980ti's came out, but that's my fault for not doing my research.

Overall Review: I would recommend the 980ti's over these for the bump in performance, but you can't go wrong with these either.

Most Critical Review

Worked for a while

BitFenix Spectre Pro LED Red 230mm Case Fan
BitFenix Spectre Pro LED Red 230mm Case Fan

Pros: -Moves a lot of air -Quiet -LED's look nice. Better than the regular Spectre

Cons: -Fan just died unexpectedly almost 2 years later. The ironic thing is that they run so quiet I have no idea how long its been dead. The LED's still shine like they always do but I just noticed the fan wasn't spinning the other day. Now getting a replacement for this thing has become absurdly expensive.

Overall Review: -It would be nice if someone other than BitFenix made 230mm fans. This size of a fan seems to be an oddball that no one but BitFenix makes anymore. Might have to replace both of my HAF32 cases before too long if no one else is going to make these 230mm fans.

Worth every penny

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card GV-N460OC-1GI
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card GV-N460OC-1GI

Pros: I bought 2 of these back in 2010 and for SLI. No game I ever put up to them even today so much as made a hiccup in performance and I always max all settings.

Cons: I put two of these in a mid tower and I've had heating issues. Nothing catastrophic but they can get up above 70 C during the summer which a little high for my tastes.

Overall Review: Glad I picked these up back in 2010 and with two these in SLI you can still run any game even from today's standards at max settings...provided you don't have any other bottlenecks. I'm switching over to AMD Radeon for my next build to give them a try and they have a lot to live up to after using these 460's for 2 years.
