Pros: no coasters, Fast, reads more than most as far as compatable br discs. I have two of the model number before this drive in older builds and this if ofr the newest build. Used an old computer to make sure i had no issues with it. The model i know from the go will burn a 25 gig disc for data in about 12 minutes. and that was using a 4x bluray disc the amazing part is the reader read the disc as an 8x and the time was even faster. Optical Quantam Discs sold on Egg here.. I am happy as this is the newest faster model and it is another lg drive software is as usual.. could always be better but it does work .. so no problem. NO Coasters in 50 blu ray discs for Opticala Quantum so that should give you all an idea.
Cons: none
Overall Review: one thought i have had which i forgot.. i am able to even do a little surfing while burning the discs. I do not recommend doing that with burning operations gonig on.. bu i got lucky on that one.
Fantastic

Pros: Massive on board system fans 5 ports. This board come with to fans onboard for the back panel are and the sata area. The software that comes with this is extremely helpful when it comes to heat. I have monitored temps and never above 45 cel and this is with a corsair water cooler h105i. no adapter needed for water cooler to motherboard. Manual is easy to follow and very good at explaining although it can always be better. I highly suggest reading all the manual for working the bios correctly. Read for five and setup might take you ten .. dont read and your talking 30 easy if it has been awhile since you built a machine.USB three header is great. Expansion slots are perfect as i added a pcie-1 card for extra usb three slots. Yes it is overkill but it is worth it. Especially the speed. I did have to la with setting on the bios to make it run the corsair dominator ram at 1866 but that was no problem after that which brings me back to REad the manual.. The biggest thing i noticed when i first received this board was heavy and weigh of just the board itself. So it has a bit of quality and i looked closely at the soldering on the board. which is very close if not military grade. It will handle heat. Now as for the cooling..... i do not recommend big air units as it might put a lot of stress on the board. And if you move the machine after it might put stress on joints or parts of the board that will or could break but you wont see. As far as the tweeks and the peeks.. this board is right on target and just about as good as it gets.. I have been a fan on MSI boards for years.... my first was an asus which died way back .. but not Asus has regain a bit of my trust... I will update in a month after the tests tweeks and what not.. my system build is .. InWin GrOne case Asus Sabertooth x79 I7-4930 chip 32gb Corsair Dominator 18866 memory XFX R9-290a video card anker pcie-1 usb3 add on card Corsair h105i water cooler LG BluRay burner Rosewill Memory card reader Muskin chronos 256 ssd Thermal take 850 watt ps .. and 10 fans moutned all over the case... and it is silent if you use Cougar fans.
Cons: not a single thing at all....
Overall Review: only thing i could think of is maybe angle the sata ports straight up in stead of angled off board.
POWER CHARGING!!

Pros: this thing charges everything!!! I hooked up four devices and they were charged in two hours compared to four with the factory chargers...!!!! I highly recommend this for anyone who need to charge anything by USB ports
Cons: none
Overall Review: can't think of thing this needs at all... maybe velcro to hold it in place..??? lol
stable power

Pros: stable power.. runs a radeon r9-290a card flawlessy. which requires a 750watt ps.. my system .. asus sabertooth x79 i7-4930 chip cosair dominator 32g corsair h105i cooler XFX R9-290a 4g video card anker pcie 1 usb3 card with rosewill media card reader lg bluray writer inwin grone case muskin ssd 240 g and this powersupply ... ran in overclock and power was stable. it flies and then some will be adding 2 wd black drive for storage on raid .. it will handle the power...
Cons: none
GAMES!!

Pros: not bad choices.. depending on who and what you like to play. When i bought found out steam had that yearly sale .. so it does not equate to 150 bucks.. but as being i have been out of gaming for 5 years now due to hardware lacking it is a good thing. Back into gaming and this card is amazing that gave me the games.. Tomb Raider , Hitman absolution, and snipe elite i like oh i like.. once i install the game i mange to get a 4 game free called dragons and titan.. i know cheesy but for getting back in to gamin i need to learn again.. lol...Steam had a great sale and i picked up for more game for another 20 bucks..
Cons: none
Overall Review: not bad as i said dependingon who you are.. but if you are like me and have been out of gaming for a while and like to biuld beasts of computer.. it help to get back into it..
Extreme Cooling!!

Pros: With this cooler in my InWin Gr One case along with 8 more install fans I have managed to keep this Intel 4930 chip to total heat of 40 degrees celceius at load... and 30 while idle..used Hitman absolution for rating and it was 90fps. It takes the heat out and then some great gaming for anything. This thing is big so expect to move parts. A mid tower might have problems using this unit. The GRone is a full size tower so watch the size. this unit lights up at the contact to chip very neat along with the color rings. If you need power cooling this would be your unit. No problem with fans or anything. silent as it gets and i have them ramped up.
Cons: none
Overall Review: make sure you have a full tower case for this cooling unit. Mid tower get a measure for 240mm.. put two 120 fans togher and see if you can mout this .. and then double them up for width size..
