Large and in Charge
Pros: Full 170 Watts for my Thinkpad W530. I needed this because my refurbish sent the wrong charger. Now I can run my CPU's Full speed. Computer is Litty now. It says it's Lenovo. CHEAP! Packaged in nice amount of bubble wrap. Fast Shipping.
Cons: I will post if it zaps my computer. Currently it works beautifully.
Overall Review: "Handle with care! Thanks!"
IT'S A BATTERY!
Pros: It is a battery. It fits my W530. HWMonitor says it has full capacity, 84 Wh Shipped in a bubble package, with a foam padded box and static bag. Pretty fast shipping.
Cons: It costs money. If it's a phony, I wouldn't even know.
Overall Review: It didn't glide into place, I had to do a minuscule adjustment to get it to fit in. Psssh... NEW BATTERY!
High Spec and Cheap
Pros: This computer is super high quality for the amount I paid for it. All the specs are as listed and the screen was a nice surprise, as it wasn't detailed in the specifications, but ended up being full 1080p. The computer is super clean and well deserving of the Grade-A it was listed as. Arrow shipped super fast, and it arrived within 2 days on the free shipping
Cons: The battery wear level is around 70%, meaning it has 30% the capacity of a new battery. BUT, all that was promised was that it holds a charge, so no biggie. THE MAJOR problem though, is that the charger is not strong enough to power the computer. It will charge the battery fast, but for some reason the inner workings of the w530 computer are like, "I don't feel a thing." I will have to order a higher powered charger, but that is like another 40$. That still makes this laptop totes worth it. I don't fault Arrow for that. It's probably just the charger they were given when they bought the computer.
Overall Review: I am upgrading from a t410. This W530 is about 2 inches larger. Also, the keyboard changed between generations, but the keys feel just as good. I was sad the keyboard wasn't backlit, but it does have the overhead light by the webcam to light up the keys.
Cheap! Fast!
Pros: - Cheap price - Fast processor - Lenovo Thinkpad ( I am in love) - Runs cool
Cons: Integrated Graphics are oldish(Intel HD first gen), don't plan on playing many games. HDD space is small
Overall Review: As a refurbish, this is a solid B. It came cleaned ( which is all i really expected). The HDD is smaller than the bay, so it flops around when turned upside down. The battery is still good, 4-6 hours of use. The only major defect it came with was the screen being wonky on the bottom(imagine the lights on the floor in a darkened movie theatre, the lights shining on the walls in conical shapes. I can live with that for the price. I would buy this again. I also bought a more expensive dell laptop, and even though the specs are higher I love the Thinkpad more. The dell gets 20-30 degrees Celsius hotter than the thinkpad. I ended up giving the dell to my son.
Very Cost Efficient
Pros: Cheap Fast Processor Comes with heatsink compound Free shipping Relatively fast arrival ~10 business days
Cons: From China?
Overall Review: I bought this processor to upgrade an old tower I had for my son. The original processor was an E2160 running at 1.8ghz with 1mb cache. My machine runs much much faster now. The packaging was an issue for some people, but I think the processor would only get damaged if it were put into a compactor.
