Great fans!
Pros: good airflow, unbeatable price... you wont be dissappointed. Bought 5 of these. No issues.
Cons: none
Good bang for the buck
Pros: -Price, compatability once you get it set up....
Cons: - Has to be set up for windows to recognize the inserted drive. - DO NOT assign the "to be" inserted hard disk the same drive letter as the docking station.....
Overall Review: I had to set up the hard disks i was to use with the docking station. - Do a reboot of windows, then check what drive letter it assigns to the station. - click ... start> - right click computer> manage> - click disk management - find the new disk. RIght click to Format if you want. Assign it deive letter..... - insert and do this for each "insertable" hard disk you are going to use..... DONT assign each disk the same drive letter !!! This caused problems...... Just go in sequence and you will be fine......
Great CPU Cooler
Pros: I have changed 3 AMD CPU's in the last 6 months (5600+, 6400+ BE, Phenom II 720 BE). This thing keeps the CPU cold. I am currently running the 720 on an ASUS M3n72-d, o/c'd at 8% and running 17C idle and 23c under heavy load (Crysis, Company of heroes dx10, Dead space, and 3d steroscopic gaming). My case is an ANTEC 900, and out of curiosity I swapped out CPU fans with; Zalman CPS 9500, Zalman CPS 9700, and the AMD stock CPU fan. The other fans ran 30-41c under load. Switched out and immediately dropped back to 23c.
Cons: Depending on your mobo, this fan will block the first Ram slot. Not a worry if you ram does not have any fans or heatpipes like kingston hyper-x, or crucial ballistics, or if use of the first ram slot is not necessary.
Overall Review: I am sold! When I have to replace this fan I will only go with Xigmatek; they just rock! Low price, great performance, and great overclock cooling.... Glad I bought this over the Noctura...
Great bang for the buck
Pros: Cant beat the price! GPU Temps dropped when I overclocked the cards. Download EVGA precision to overclock - Great Utility - Can show temps and FPS on screen. Elimnates the need for aftermarket monitoring programs.
Cons: Does not come with a 2 way SLI bridge. Called EVGA got the bridge free within 3 days. For SLI it needs 400w PSU (min) with 22 amps (Combined) on 12v rail.
Overall Review: This is one of the better cards I have owned. No probs, overclocks nicely, does not heat beyond control under load. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ System specs: AMD 6400 black edition (OC 3.5 ghz), 4 BG Kingston Hyperx ddr2 800 ram (OC 840 mhz), Antec 900 case, BFG 650W PSU, EVGA 590i SLI mobo, WD Caviar 500 GB HDD.
