Most Favorable Review

No issues at all.

Intel 330 Series Maple Crest 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDSC2CT120A3K5
Intel 330 Series Maple Crest 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDSC2CT120A3K5

Pros: Slid it in the drive bay. installed Windows 8. I can be on the internet from power off in about 8 -10 seconds. This is in a 5 year old Dell Inspiron laptop.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I didn't need a super fast drive as I only have old SATA interface in this computer so for the price this was a gem.

Most Critical Review

Marvell Chipset. 6Gb Yea right. Waste of Money

SYBA SD-PEX40035 PCI-Express 2.0 SATA III (6.0Gb/s) Controller Card
SYBA SD-PEX40035 PCI-Express 2.0 SATA III (6.0Gb/s) Controller Card

Pros: None

Cons: This was complete waste of money. I bought it so I could RAID 1 a new system. I knew about the issues with Win7 64bit and the other contraints of the PCI-Express. Putting it in the X16 slot it showed 5.0 Gbs Had new SATA III drives and new cables. There was no speed difference running the drive thru this card vs the SATA II plugs on the board. When I finally got RAID to not degrade on new install it cut my speed by 1/3. I could only get 80 MbS transfer rate.

Overall Review: Should have researched the Marvell RAID chipset and I would have saw all the bad reviews on it. I have intel on my other board and it is awesome. Don't waste your money on this junk. buy a different SATA II if you need RAID.

Great Board at a Great Price

ASUS P7H55-M PRO LGA 1156 Intel H55 HDMI Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P7H55-M PRO LGA 1156 Intel H55 HDMI Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Bought this for a cheaper home computer for my parents. I put an I3 550 in it using the onboard graphics. and the Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600 4Gb memory. It fired right up. It had the latest BIOS in it. (one that was not even listed on ASUS site yet.) Had an insert in manual that talked about the PCI X16 slot disabling with the Clarkdale chips, but I was able to put RAID card in the slot and get 5.0Gbs rate. It has a 4 pin output for case fan. It is great for the price.

Cons: Does not have RAID.

Overall Review: You do need to research the limitations on this board with your processor and the PCI slots. And the limits about memory ect. If you are building a low to mid price system this is great.

This is the right choice. Get one fast before they are gone

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 - Core 2 Quad Kentsfield Quad-Core 2.4 GHz LGA 775 105W Processor - BX80562Q6600
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 - Core 2 Quad Kentsfield Quad-Core 2.4 GHz LGA 775 105W Processor - BX80562Q6600

Pros: Have a ASUS P5Q Pro and this worked like a champ. Intalled a slipstream XP64 bit in about 40 mins with out a hitch. Bumped up to 333 FSB and I am at 3.05 Ghz with no troubles. I don't know why they set this chip at 2.4. Runs about 20 degs at idle with stock cooler.

Cons: They'll bet out of them in 6 months. and you won't find one.

Overall Review: Get one of these now before they are all gone. I moved up from a Pent4 3.6 Ghz. I could run Vista with that one with no problems and I can play COD4 on max settings with no real problems but you can't find them anymore. This chip is every bit as good as that one was it's day and a lot cheaper. Given the price I don't think they will get much cheaper. Don't buy a better cooler until you see what yours will run. I have had no problems yet.

Good card, Watch out with XP64 bit

EVGA 01G-P3-N816-AR GeForce 8800GT AKIMBO 1GB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
EVGA 01G-P3-N816-AR GeForce 8800GT AKIMBO 1GB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: I bought this car for instead of the 512 Mb becasue with the rebate it was almost the same price. EVGA is great to work with Got to their level 2 tech support no problem. The fan runs quite unless it comes full on. It only did that once when I first installed it (see cons). Running COD4 it does not change fan level.

Cons: Installed in my XP 64-bit system. I had a Radeon 800XL with 256 Mb. I spent a day tring to get the Nvidia drivers to work with XP. Keep getting the blue screen of death. (I eventually learned that I still had some ATI dirvers that were causing the conflict). Seems this is an issue only with XP 64-bit SP2.

Overall Review: I bought this for a new system I am building, but wanted to try it out right away. I would not have spent the money on it just to upgrade. It would not have been worth it. I don't notice that much of a difference from my ATI 800XL to justify the cost. However for a new system you can't beat the price.

Piece of Junk Silenx doesn't care

SilenX IXP-64-14T 92mm Case Fan
SilenX IXP-64-14T 92mm Case Fan

Pros: None It doesn't work.

Cons: I have had this fan for about 6 months, and did not realize that is was not working untill my temp alarm went off. First off the Asus motherboard did not read the rpm's right so I hooked up direct to power supply. It now doesn't work at all. You can tell that it wants to spin but just won't.

Overall Review: This was one of the most expensive fans when I bought it, but I have sent Silenx an e-mail and they don't care. DON'T BUY SILENX ! Buy some other brand.
