Pros: Affordable and high quality
Overall Review: No need to spend big bucks for pricey cables.
Pros: Feels comfortable and keys are responsive. Great price.
Cons: Not a deal-breaker but it would be nice if the caps lock and F lock had a light. Instead, the position of these keys (on/off) are viewed on the monitor. It's easy to become adjusted but some may want a keyboard light.
Pros: Price, fast arrival and it works - Seller said to contact him if there were any problems. Everything looks great
Pros: standard drive and price
Cons: Did the people who designed this ever hear of the Americans with Disabilities Act? I am not disabled or challenged but getting the flash drive to slide open was almost impossible. Once it opened, it did get easier to operate but it is still nowhere acceptable.
Overall Review: No
Pros: Nothing good to say.
Cons: Prior versions of Nero allowed a custom install so you could weed out the programs you didn't want. This version's install is all or nothing.
Overall Review: It's possible that this will install if done in safe mode and it's also possible your configuration may allow it to install. This is why I say experiment with the trial version before buying.
Unrelated to Nero, I will be reformatting my drive. As such, I managed to install Nero. However, I have several safeguard programs that removed some of the suite's programs as they were viewed as PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs). These were Nero Tuneup/Optimizer, etc. . Nero also installed a "free" Music Player I didn't want and it constantly nagged me to buy it. I uninstalled it but who knows if there are still remnants remaining.
One of the reasons I need to reformat my drive is the damage done by intrusive programs that purport to be safe as well as reimaging the drive by a questionable product. If your objective is a clean booting drive that operates within the standards of a Windows 10 OS, stay away from Nero 2017.
Pros: Very easy set-up for capture. A bit more involved setting up the recorder software and the channel database (mostly time consuming) . When I changed cable providers, I discovered that I was no longer able to use my DVD Recorder which replaced my VCR (all composite and component outputs were unavailable for use and I had no interest in leasing a DVR or other expensive solution. What is most outstanding is that this product allows me access to the ports just like in the VCR days.

I love the options (video quality slider, 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio, etc, etc.)
Cons: Whenever I tried to safely disconnect the device (Windows 7), I was told it was in use by a program. So I used the task manager to end it. I later realized that the Hauppauge TV Server needed to be manually stopped. Not a big issue but I will report the concern to Hauppauge.

Update: Hauppauge said it it not a problem to simply disconnect the USB plug when not longer in use.
Overall Review: Great product and nice price. Considering this is SD, it is well worth having.
Pros: It works. Great Price.
There were no difficulties having it read my 2.0 or 3.0 devices.
Cons: The on/off button caught me off guard. I was expecting that once the power was connected, it was ready to go. When I checked the "universal instructions", it showed a picture of the on/off button (duh!).
Pros: price & performance are great
Cons: none that I am aware of
just being picky but it really should have been formatted to NTFS.
Pros: I forgot to add the following MAJOR and significant advantage of this program.
When I added USB 3.0 drives to my system, Windows 7 always saw the 3.0 externals when making an image of the startup drive. It NEVER saw the drives when trying to reimage (using System Backup and Restore) unless and until I installed the USB 3.0 drivers. Microsoft could have fixed this problem and made life easier for its customers.
Acronis handles this issue differently. It knows what drivers were used on your system and uses them when you perform a restore. I no longer need the extra steps of having the drivers available and navigating to find and install them. For this reason alone, the program is a blessing.
Cons: As mentioned in my other review.
Pros: Rubberized coating so it won't slip, hole so it can go on a lanyard or key chain, fast and excellent price with the promo code.
Cons: Not that big a deal but it was formatted FAT32 and I would have expected a stick this size to be NTFS.
The cap fits tightly but there isn't a locking sound or locking mechanism. It's doubtful that it will ever slip off and more likely a user will misplace it.
Pros: compact size, plug & play, quiet.
Cons: None. This was a replacement unit as the 1st would not install.
Pros: Quiet with fast read/write times and it has cushioned feet . Worked right out of the box.
Cons: I haven't found any problems thus far and I don't expect any.
Thread drift - It bothers me that Newegg allows users to write reviews for different products than this one but at least the authors are acknowledging it is for a different WD model.
Pros: Does what it is supposed to. No problems reformatting to NTFS (using Windows 7).
I copied a 6gb file and the write speed was at 20mb/s. After that, I used the same file and a USB 2.0 flash drive and it wrote at 5 mb/s.
Great Black Friday deal.
Cons: Can't think of any - it's a basic unit. I'm not looking to lock or encrypt files.
Pros: Easy to pair and worked with no effort. I use this to connect my Yamaha AV to my computer. Streams music beautifully.
We did some painting that required us to remove one of the units. When we returned the unit, it resumed its connection like it was never removed.
Cons: None so far and I don't expect any.
Overall Review: Both devices are on the same circuit so I know it helps. I don't know if it is mandatory that it be on the same circuit as I've received different opinions. I do know that the speed will be reduced if it is able to connect on a different circuit.
Pros: Sounds great.
Cons: Miserable lights (blue and red). Klipsch still warranties their discontinued products. It seems a shame that the turnover of products seems so short (approx. every three years).
Pros: Two Zone audio, internet radio, play from your PC, video up-conversion (beautifull video), bundled wi-fi adaptor, many features you probably won't use but are there if you ever need them and outstanding 24/7 technical support at Yamaha.
Cons: Steep learning curve if you are new at this. There are so many options and so many possible solutions that it can be overwhelming.
Pros: Sweet product - does exactly what it's supposed to. Windows uses a generic driver installed by the system so there is no install disk.
Cons: Spend a little extra on the ink when printing the instructions. I needed a magnifying glass to see the text. I do not have a problem with my vision but the text was microscopic.
Overall Review: Excellent product.
Pros: Great fit
I was able to cut an oversized piece of protective film and the silicon cover made it look like a professional fit.
There are two raised pieces to cover the navigation buttons so you know where to click.
Pros: Nice wizard graphics to direct your operation.
Cons: A number of the wizards caused my machine to reboot. I contacted customer support and they never got back to me.
Why reward the company for bad behavior by spending your money there?
Overall Review: I went with Norton Ghost and now have a product that does what it's supposed to do (make backups, recover backups and create a customized emergency disk to start your machine. I especially like that Ghost makes a mirror image of your drive so if you need to reformat it, it's done in one step.
Pros: Nice wizards to walk you through the different procedures.
Cons: Unfortunately, many don't work. The program forced a number of restarts for which there is no justification. The backup was straight forward but the recover brought my machine down. Trying to do a "clone" also brought it down.
Overall Review: I wouldn't give this program to my worst enemy.
Pros: I wanted a basic player that could play +DL burned dics as well as MP3 format discs. I have no interest in a LAN or streaming video. The player does a great job upconverting non-Bluray discs.
No problems updating the firmware via CD.
Cons: According to the manual, there are 5 search speeds. That seems to be the way to fast forward or fast reverse to find a particular spot. Every other player I've seen allows you to search for hours and minutes. This one doesn't so I knocked off an egg.
Overall Review: Regarding having to log-in and do everything short of placing the order to find the price: This seems to be a trend on many other websites as well.
Pros: great price & small footprint
Cons: on/off switch would be nice and I'm getting used to the bright power on light.
Pros: None. Even with free shipping, this is not a good deal. (media ID and no spindle to secure media).
Cons: I ordered 5 and the wrapping broke on 2 of them. As there isn't a spindle, there were 100 discs rolling around the carton. Newegg should have done a better job protecting the contents. Still, they promptly issued a refund for the damaged items.
