works with zotac ion video card

StarTech.com PCI to PCI Express Adapter Card Model PCI1PEX1
StarTech.com PCI to PCI Express Adapter Card Model PCI1PEX1

Pros: I used this with a older intel 330 atom mini itx board, which only had the gma 950 video . It only had a pci slot. I happened to have the zotac pci express 1x ion video card that I wanted to use, this allowed me to use it just fine. Not for gaming but works good for watching high def vids on youtube and such

Cons: A little spendy for what it is

Overall Review: Using it with a old atom 330 dual core mini-itx board 2 gigs of ram windows xp Did not purchase it here but all the rest of the components for this build were. Overall very pleased with how it works

Rma process a joke

Mushkin Enhanced Chronos 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MKNSSDCR120GB-7
Mushkin Enhanced Chronos 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MKNSSDCR120GB-7

Pros: none

Cons: After making several attempts to contact them though their customer support dept. and getting no response. I attempted to call them. They sent me back to open another ticket online. Which gets no response. A vicious circle.

Overall Review: They may claim to have a warranty but they are in fact kidding.

for those with sync flood errors...

MSI 785GTM-E45 AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
MSI 785GTM-E45 AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: good entry level board, good for basic computing and even moderate gaming( with an appropriate video card of course )

Cons: Put two computers together with these, one for me one for my brother. The one that had problems was the one for my brother which I had sent overseas(Scotland) After trying to troubleshoot his sync flood error problems to no avail I had him bring it back when he visited. After looking it over I noticed that those clowns at MSI had set the two microswitches (used for overclocking) to full overclock (20%) Switched them back to where they should have been set from the factory(no overclock) and everything has been fine ever since(about 5 months)

Overall Review: Why do they even have microswitches for overclocking when you can do it through the bios? Hope this helps someone out there with the same problem.
