Asus makes quality boards.
Pros: This board replaced my older ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe. This M4A785TD-V EVO worked so perfectly and stable right out of the box that i hesitate to update the bios just yet. Asus tools included on the install cd make overclocking painless. This board is so beautiful to look at..it makes me wish i had a transparent case:-) Running Win 7 Ultimate 64 with nary a hiccup...yet
Cons: The cpu fan power socket could have been a bit closer to the cpu, it took a little stretching to get it plugged in. Other than that i'm very happy so far.
Worked perfectly for 1 year...then downhill
Pros: For the first year this Wbr-2310 worked great then started having random dropouts and needing to be unplugged and powercycled (first monthly, then weekly and now daily) for it to be able to connect to the internet. I have a wired pc, wireless laptop, xbox 360 and Wii connected to it. When it works..the wireless signal broadcast is strong throughout a 2 story house and you'll need to update the firmware immediately as the firmware shipped with this router was even worse.
Cons: I have a D-link broadband modem that has lasted 4+ years so i expected this router to last as well...it didn't. So while i still trust the D-link name for modems i cant no longer trust them for routers.
Overall Review: Thankfully Newegg has some great deals on wireless routers right now:-)
Great and powerful mobo
Pros: Easy to install and has all the bells and whistles i expect from MSI. The led temps on it are a nice touch too. I have an i7-4790k attached to it and they work great together. So far this Z97A works great no errors or glitches at all. The included programs from MSI work very well with this mobo too.
Cons: The sound is too low. Even though MSI advertises great sound. Sound is crisp and clear just too low. I had to buy a amped sound card to push my headphones.
Overall Review: I don't have use for USB 3.1 yet but being future-proof is always a good idea.
Excellent cooling with a very solid radiator.
Pros: The Enermax radiator is heavier and built better than a few others I've seen. The fins are almost impossible to bend. The tubes are very thick and the whole package just screams quality. But most important to me, my i7-4970k is idling at 25 degrees.
Cons: The included thermal paste has the consistency of melted gum. Could be messy if one isn't careful but it cools extremely well.
Beautiful and roomy case
Pros: I fell in love with this case while looking for something else on Youtube. I knew i had to have this case for my latest build. It's a sight to behold especially at night with the NZXT HUE that i also added. Case is quieter than i was expecting. You can barely heard the fans and for sure it is roomy enough for whatever you need to put in it. Front and bottom dust filter are an nice bonus too.
Cons: A top dust filter or something that would've raised the top cover a bit would have been great. You'll have to remove to top magnetic cover if you mount radiator and fans there. Small problem though and still a great case.
Bright, Windy but don't last too long.
Pros: I have one of the older Xclio Windtunnel cases that require two 250mm fans on the side. The original Xclio fans lasted 6 years before dying but the Rexus fans that replaced them lasted two years before giving up the ghost. They are huge and provide lots of air though. The leds are very bright and work perfectly for the intended purpose.
Cons: The last two Rexus 250mm's i brought lasted 2 years. Can't say I'm too thrilled about that but Rexus appears to be the only company that sells case fans of this size on Newegg. Fans work perfectly though....they just don't last as long as i would prefer.
