Excellent features and aesthetics at a good price
Pros: - huge window - power supply cover - comes with two 140mm fans - grommeted cable management holes - hidden hard drive cage - completely modular design
Cons: - thin steel all around, really noticed it on the back panel when installing motherboard I/O shield, really gives under pressure - it would be nice to get a couple more of the 'drop and lock' SSD mounts, including only one, with three mounting spots available comes across a little cheap - as many have mentioned having intake in the front that isn't filtered is annoying (there are front fan filters, but they don't cover the other venting)
Overall Review: I would recommend doing what I did, and putting the windowed side panel aside immediately until your build is complete, so you don't accidentally scratch it up, acrylic is too easy to scratch. All around an excellent case with really nice features for the price, I highly recommend, especially for that showcase build.
Bummed.
Pros: I own the 430W version, and really like it, so really disappointed that my 530W was defective. - really nice design with crinkle finish coat - I like the semi-modular because it keeps the cable area leaving the psu cleaner - full ribbon cables, which isn't super common - 80+ gold is awesome - "Heat Guard" is a nice feature
Cons: Something in the modular cables/headers was defective. 24pin and 8pin CPU work fine, and power the motherboard up, but SATA cables won't power HDD/SSD/ODD so they don't show up in motherboard BIOS. Super confusing for a couple days of troubleshooting.
Nice unit!
Pros: - semi-modular - 'eco' mode for silence at low load - EVGA 5 year warranty - all black connectors and, except 24-pin, they're ribbon cables
Cons: - I've had this gripe with EVGA in the past: I wish they'd make their power supplies look nicer. This is just a black box with (at least on mine) a crooked sticker applied to the side. No nice paint job or anything just a sticker. At the end of the day I choose EVGA for a good track record on power supplies, but I wish they'd work a little harder in the aesthetics department. - no extras included (no bag or tester, as with other models). At around $80, this ought to come with more extras, in my opinion
Overall Review: I haven't owned this super long, but so far I'd definitely recommend.
Excellent cooler a breeze (bdum chh) to install!
Pros: - nice black heatsink - capped heat pipes are really nice looking - nice Phanteks 140mm PWM included - cooling is excellent - compatible with any memory out there, due to 'slim' footprint - finally an easy, effective mounting solution for a heatsink, good job Phanteks!
Cons: - none
Overall Review: I'd buy again in a heart beat, and highly recommend!
So far, solid.
Pros: Are you kidding me? Full-size Cherry MX mechanical keyboard for seventy bucks?! That's insane. - excellent minimalist aesthetic (nothing you don't need) - when LEDs are off it looks real stealth - 4 levels of backlight brightness on a keyboard of this price is awesome - I appreciate the modularity of the wrist rest
Cons: - LED backlighting is uneven on all keys that have more than one line of text (i.e. only 'CAPS' in CAPS LOCK is lit well, etc) - not a biggie, but something you'll doubtless notice - it's really nice to have detachable USB cables on keyboards, imo - I use a Graffiti wrist rest (highly recommend), so I haven't hooked up the FUNC wrist rest, but the connectors are flimsy and wish there were a better implemenation
Overall Review: Wow. If you're looking for a legit, no-nonsense, full-size mechanical keyboard on a budget, this IS the one for you.
So far, so good
Pros: I haven't owned this very long yet, but I really like it. I'm a claw/fingertip style gripper, so these wider but shorter mice appeal to me. I dig: - overall size - nice rough-grip surface (feels premium, as others have mentioned) - nice braided cable - ridiculous DPI adjustment (who the heck needs 16,000 DPI?!) - clicks (so far) are quiet tactile and little loud, which I prefer
Cons: - I'd like to see the indicators so you know what DPI setting (1 through 5) you are currently on. - color customization for LED only covers back half of the mouse, what about the scroll wheel and (default) DPI buttons?
Overall Review: Odd to me you can't change the scroll wheel (red) and DPI buttons (blue) from their default. Not a biggie, since I'm not really a super blingy LED kinda guy, but just seems odd.
