XMP II only @4300MHZ, in new QVL system ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-E GAMING MB, Intel I7-10700K overclocked to 5100MHZ
Pros: Install was a breeze working great in XMP II mode at 4300MHZ.
Cons: MB is on the QVL list and was expecting memory to run at 4800MHZ.
Overall Review: Installed in the 2nd and 4th sockets as recommended. Increased voltage to 1.6, tried one stick and no luck, can't get past 4200MHZ. Any recommendations to get speed up to 4800MHZ? Thanks
Rock Solid Memory
Pros: Rock solid memory with Asus P5Q MB. OC to 553mhz. Corsair Dominator memory would not work reliably even underclocked. I confirmed that the corsair memory is working as I tried in two other MB's @ 400mhz. This G.Skill and Corsair memory are listed as qualified products. Kudos to G.Skill but still do not understand why the corsair memory will not work
